Chapter 28 Mutation

Hey guys sorry for the late update but the book turns out to have alot still to write so I apologize for the slow updates.

I watched as the rotting moster begane twisting and truning as it screamed in pain. The mutation started to change the rotting flesh in to new muscles and then reverting back to rotting flesh. This kept continuing as the monsters screams echoed in the lab.

"Well looks like to much of the vampire blood is going to put them in a state of constant regeneration" said the man as he a
Scribbled something down in his notebook.

"Now shall we try the new formula I made" he smirked as he grabbed a vile full of green liquid and injected it into one of the creepers.

After about 5 seconds the creeper began to screams as it started changing growing fangs and then some fur. I stared in horror as it's eyes changed from the yellow to a mix of red and black. The creature looked like a mixure of a warewolf, vampire, and the virus.

The creature had fur going all over his back but the front of it's body was bare with skin. His teeth looked lik vampire fang and the eyes a mixure of it all.

The creature then stopped screaming and started to slowly get up from his curled spot on the floor.

The man quickly injected the creeper with a robotic chip and stood back. "hello ID #1" he said as he watched the being turn and look at him.

"ID #1 I want you to kill that monster laying on the ground" he said as he pointed to the creeper in the state of contstant regeneration.

ID #1 approached the creeper and started to pet it. "Well it looks like the seyrum worked but the chip needs some detail." said the man as he noted down the results.

Just then the sqeak of the pink haired girls voice came in as she rushed in to the lab "BOSS WE HAVE A PROBLEM ONE OF THE STINKYS ARE LOSING IT" she yelled as the so called boss ran out fallowing her.

Using this chance to my advantage I quickly ran over to the viles of the serum and grabbed one just then ID #1 turned and looked at me curiously. It didn't make a noise or any violent attempt just stared at me confused.

"Uhhh hi" I said waving my hand. The thing started at my hand then back at it's own and waved. "Wow so you can do that as well" I said as I stared at it mimicking me.

I quickly turned around and started to sneak off keeping low to the ground. As I kept to the walls I heard a sound. Turing around I saw ID #1 falowing me keeping quiet and copying my moves. I stared at it confused.

"Why are you fallowing me" it stared at me again tilting it's head trying to understand. "Uff I don't have time for this" i said as I quickly moved through the tunnels and opened the door leading back to the foggy area. I turned around to find ID #1 still fallowing me.

"From the looks of it you fallow whoever is in front of you" I said as I watched it stare at it's hand. The back at me and then it quickly glanced behind it.

"We have to change your name I think instead if ID #1 how about we call you lex" I said as I smiled. Lex stared at me confused and began to to copy my smile.

I laughed at the attempt of lexs smile because it was more lopsided. "Anyways lets leave before they realize your gone" I said as we started moving away from the spot. As we started fallowing the compus I could hear a weird beeping sound.

I looked around for the noise as my eyes landded on a red glowing spot on lex. " Oh shoot they tagged you and I bet it has a tracker" I said as I reached over and squeezed the tracked from under lex's skin.

I tried to focus on my hearing trying to listing to something like water. After a while I heard the sound of gushing water. Making our way through the fog we stopped at the water. I through the piece into the water watching It disappear in the waves.

We began walking in the opposite direction of the water and then went back on the path the compus lead.

As we walked the fog begane to get heavier to the point where I couldn't see anything infront of me. "Ok I think we should settle down here and camp untill the fog clears..." I said Turing around to notice lex wasn't there.

"Lex? Where are you....OW" i said as I felt a pinch on my arm turning towards the pain u noticed a flash of red before black dots covered my vision and I felt my body falling...
