chapter 3 friends or enemies

Hey guys here is chapter three so in the

last chapter we found out that airi is not

your average teenager we also find out

that when she gets infected she didn't

turn in to a zombie instead of the venom

caused her to change in a good way

healing her making her stronger well in

this chapter we meet some new people

Part 3

I woke up to the sound of people talking wincing I got up and looked around. I was in the middle of a forest laying on the ground and I mean literally on the ground.

Noticing I was awake the boy looked over at the girl and nodded. The girl quickly looked up "oh how are you feeling now you just suddenly passed out in the car and you had blood on your shoulder so we were a bit worried but it seems your fine" she said so fast before smiling and then going back to what she was doing.

I stared at the both of them and got a better look at them. the boy was quite handsome ok he was hot he had black hair his eyes were a vibrant brown with gray specks and strapped to his back was a sword a really big sword. Like shit dude, you sure can't cut onions with that.

Really is that the best you can do the voice in my head grumbled. Well, I don't see you saying anything I mumbled back to her. Just great in talking to my self. Zoning back to what I was doing.

I turned to look at the girl she was quite pretty she had long light brown hair that reached just above her lower back her eyes were light brown like milk chocolate.

This is just weird I swear I saw they had different hair and eye colors. Something is up I thought before shaking the thoughts out of my head.

The boy spoke next "hey I am Haru, and this here" he said pointing at the girl "is my childhood friend Elie" elite responded with a slight nod.

Haru looked at her and sighed "she's a bit shy don't mind her" "what's your name".

I stared at him it took a while to realize what he just asked.

"my name is airi and she didn't seem shy about 5 min ago" the boy looks a bit taken back by my answer.

I just raised my eyebrows in response to his reaction.

"Want something to eat you could use it. We need all the strength we can get and tomorrow well go and get some more supplies" the boy said changing the subject wait I mean Haru.

Elie gave me some clothes "thank you" I said to her, she just smiled and with that, I was left alone in the tent so I changed out of my now dirty clothes to a black shirt and black jeans I looked at the pile of my old clothes.

"I really liked those"I said mumbling to my self.

I expected the voice to say something but it stayed silent. Moving on u decided that Haru and Elie may know what is going on and I need to figure out what is happening.

I headed out and took a seat in between Haru and Elie and began to eat the soup or I hope that's what it is

as we ate I noted that neither of the other two will ask the question so I might as well ask.

"so.... Do you guys know what's going on" Haru glanced at Elie she gave a slight nod something passed between them that I don't quite understand?

I felt a weird pang in my chest was I jealous. No way I barely know the guy.

That's cuz you love him the voice said I just mentally glared at it. Seriously I need to stop talking to my self.

My thoughts were interrupted by Harus voice.

" Airi what I am about to tell you may be a little hard to grasp" I looked at him a bit confused and just nodded in response.

Haru took one more glance at Elie and began to speak "all right let's begin from the beginning. There's a secret facility called daybreak, it is located in different parts of the world. Not many people know they even exist"

He said taking a pause before continuing " they specialize in bioweapons used by many countries around the world the only ones that know about it are the ones who work for them".

"Recently they created a deadly virus using the blood of..... A vampire and demon." I just started at him blankly for some reason I believed him. he continued his story.

"that virus was supposed to create immortal soldier but a mistake in the virus caused a mutation and somehow is leaked into the world."

"The infection spread like wildfire and killing millions of people all over the world in a matter of days but there was one problem those people infected didn't stay dead the infection caused them to came back to life and turn to zombies that live off blood," he said taking a pause and then Continued.

"It turns out that their weakness is light that is why they do not wander during the day but isn't it usually night when the monsters truly come out"

I looked at him taking in his story "so the creepers were once people like us but an infection from vampire and daemon blood caused them to turn in to what they are now" he laughed and raised his eyebrows "creepers is that what you call them, yeah that's basically what happened" so why did not turn into one of them when I was bitten I thought to my self.

damn is it just me or was that really hot the voice said in a love-struck tone. I just rolled my eyes in response forgetting my earlier thought

Shaking my head I glanced over at Elie who seemed to be shaking she looked up and smiled trying to hide something I knew she was scared it seems like there is a lot I still need to learn about.

Dang that's a lot to take in for airi If I

was there I would be like I need some
