Tori helped me get ready for my sleep over with Calum. I told her parents I would be back in the morning, I didn't tell them where I was going. They were pleased that I wasn't wearing pants today, but a skirt that was long enough to cover my marks but short enough so I didn't look like a nun. I was also wearing a Nirvana t-shirt with my signature beanie.

Tori's parents left to go out for date night. As soon as they left I texted Calum saying he could come get me, since I don't have a car. A few minutes later I got his reply.

Calum: Be there in 15. Can't wait xoxo

I smiled at his response. When Calum got here I gave Tori and hug and thanked her for lending me her skirt. "You're not welcome. Use protection if anything happens" I rolled my eyes in response. I doubled checked to make sure I had Calum's clothes for bedtime.

Just as I was about to walk out the door, someone knocked. Knowing it was Calum I walked over and answered it. He had his cheeky grin on him, but as soon as he saw me his jaw dropped. He continued to stare for a good 30 seconds before I said something "What? Do I look bad? Should I change?" I started to open the door but he stopped me. "No, you look beautiful, I was just expecting to see you in my tank top and sweat pants. I like this much better" he said with a smirk on his face. I smiled back at him and started to go his car. He ran a little to catch up, he came up behind me and intertwined his fingers with mine. This made me blush a little. I wasn't used to things like this. "Can I drive?" I asked Calum as soon as we got to his car. He gave me a look like I was crazy. "Please? I have my license! I'll do anything! Please?" He just smirked at me and handed me the keys. I gave him a puzzled look and then got in the drivers seat. I hadn't expected to have him give in so easily. "I'll be expecting that anything later, just so you know" he winked at me. I just laughed.

When we got to his house, he had ordered pizza and it was on the table. It was my favorite pepperoni "How did you know pepperoni was my favorite?" He just smiled "It's mine too, ya know?" I just looked back at him and smiled. .

He had already set the movie to right when I almost fell asleep. We sat down and cuddled on the couch. Every time it got to a scary scene I would bury my face in Calum's chest. He would always chuckle and pull me closer until I was eventually on his lap. When the movie ended we just sat there in silence for a bit. I felt his hand go up my skirt but not far, he was just feeling my scars. I tensed up, Calum noticed. "Baby why did you do this to yourself?" I didn't answer for a minute. "It helped me control the pain in my life, I didn't want the pain to control me. I wanted a say in what hurt me and cutting controlled it. I knew what was hurting me and I accepted it." I shrugged it off like it was no big deal, but I was fighting back tears. Calum kissed me in response "You'll never have to do that as long as I'm around. I don't want to hurt yourself every again. Next time you need to cut, call me." I nodded my head. "Promise?" "Promise" Calum kissed me. It was a short sweet kiss and I loved it. "Jess will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled, and nodded. "Of course Calum!" I've never actually been this happy in a long time. 2 years to be exact. All it took for me to be happy was Calum. How crazy is that?
