DUMBLEDORE POV - ha ha bet you didn't see that one coming.
After cancelling my IM with Chiron i had lots to think about. He had suggested he send another group of demi-gods, the lord of the wild, a nymph - i wasn't sure how she'd get here, but i suppose she must have some kind of blessing over her -and the oracle of Delphi over. That would probably be a good idea. Although Percy handled those hellhounds the other night he can't be expected to do that every time. We had discussed that the new transfers shall arrive here in seven weeks, at the end of next month.
"Headmaster, i have some really bad news." Percy said as he burst through the door. Kymata hissed something in his ear and he relaxed a tad.
"Percy come and sit. Tell me all about what happened." He sat at the seat opposite my table and looked at me grimly.
"Professor Trelawny made a prophesy and i think it includes me." Oh no. Not another one. I motioned for him to continue.
"She said, The child of the sea shall mark the dark lord as the enemy of another....not only need he help but he need be hero.....one shall betray by a family bond....blood will be spilled of both sides....time and earth will take the sky.....a last stand of wisdom." I sat back in my chair and sighed. Percy was going to have to win another war.
"My boy, this prophesy is almost defiantly referring to you. It's also saying, if i understood correctly, that you must be the hero of this war." Percy looked crestfallen. Will this lads life ever get easier?
"I had guessed that much. So what shall i do?" I though for a minute, but nothing came to mind.
"Why don't you return to your class mates, i believe their are about to go to care of magical creatures. I shall figure out some of this blasted prophesy." He nodded, stood and made he was to the door. Kymata hissed in his ear and her turned abruptly.
"Ky just wanted to thank you for letting her stay here. She said that she never got the chance to fully before." I smiled and nodded, letting him know the message was received. He smiled and left.
PERCY POV
I left Dumbledores office and made my way towards the forbidden forest. When i got there i saw my whole class looking at me questioningly. I just laughed a little.
"Got lost on the way to the toilets." Everyone smiled and turned back towards Hagrid. He began lecturing, i kind of zoned out until he called me up.
"Mr Jatson, i ear you 're good wit Peg'sus." Oh yes. Home court baby. I nodded and made my way to the front.
"Then you'll have no problem with these." Hagrid moved to the side, revealing the pegasus from camp. When they saw me they all went biserk.
Oh lord.
So happy we have seen you.
Chiron sent us.
"Okay, okay calm down. Now where is Blackjack?" They all snickered a little. There were some gasps as i saw blackjack spiralling out of the sky straight for me.
Boss oh my gods i'm so happy to see you. He said as he landed one me, checking me over reverently.
They didn't hurt you did they, with those stick thingies?
"Nope, but you just did." He quickly stood up and held his head down as support for me. When i got up i saw the whole class staring at me weirdly. Oh crap the slytherins were here as well.
"My headmaster let me test a spell of his. Lets just say i can understand all horses." They nodded, taking that as excuse enough.
"Okay, c'n ye tell us wh't they'r sayin'." Hagrid asked. I spent the rest of the hour showing them how to properly control and ride a pegasus, with close instruction from Blackjack. He said that Chiron wanted them to come over so they can help in the upcoming war. Well, at least it's blackjack, i trust him with my life.
"Well th't's the end er the class hope you enjoyed it." With that said goodbye to blackjack, and walked away with the other Griffindors to my favourite class of the day. DADA.
*TIME SKIP. 40 MINUTES LATER*
"Mr Jackson, stop talking to that blasted snake and continue reading. You all ready have a detention, don't make it double." Yep that's right folks. Me, Percy Jackson, twice hero of Olypus, defeater of Gaea and Kronos was listening to an up herself pink toad.
"But professor, you know i can't read English, if i could just change it..." She slammed her hand on the table.
"You will do no such thing. Are you stupid or something? Why can you not read English?" She said, her tone turning more curious by the second.
"Greek is my first language. I was taught to read write and speak it before i even knew what English was." It was a half truth. I was hoping she'd just let it be. But that would be too simple.
"Well then, you and i can have some...lessons to sort that problem out. Once every two weeks on sundays." Oh gods damn it. As much as i would love to chop her head off, i can't risk getting exposed. Ah well, i shall have to wait. When class was finlly, stress on the finally, over, i hopped, skipped, and jumped my way to the great hall, so hungry i could have probably eaten the Minotaurs underwear.
I managed to sacrifice some food to the gods without anyone knowing a second time, and scoffed my dinner down in record time.
Wow Percy, even for me that's a little disgusting. I chuckled at Ky. Every day since i brought her she has been coming out of her shell more and more. I had recently discovered she was a bit of a Thalia, 'death to Barbie' and all that jazz. After dinner i made my way up to the common rooms.
Only nodding goodbye to the others, i made my way upstairs and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I still wasn't sure what to make of the wizarding world as a whole, but i now realised that i had some good friends to help me out.
