"Lalna, what are those?" Nano asked me as I stepped past her and into an empty patch of grass.

"I dunno. Some random seeds a found" I replied, grinning.

"Oh, great, yeah. Just plant those next to my crops, I'm sure they won't kill them" Nano said, her voice oozing sarcasm.

"Alright" I said, standing up and brushing off my lab coat. I looked at the small sprout happily.

"Lalna, if that thing kills my plants I swear..." Nano muttered, standing next to me. I waved her off.

"Nah, what's the worse that can happen?" I said, turning on my jetpack in preparation to fly back to the house. Nano just rolled her eyes as I flew away.

I climbed downstairs in the basement. "Hello, Barnabus!" I said as I walked past. Barnabus let out a series of short beeps which I assumed to be a greeting. I carried on with my work.

Hours passed and soon Nano poked her head down the ladder. "Lalna, it's time for bed" I kept my eyes on my task.

"I'll be there in a minute, Nano" I mumbled. I heard an exasperated sigh and I could practically feel Nano's eyes roll.

"Come on, Lal' I know you're used to, like, never sleeping but you need sleep" she said. I yawned, further proving her point.

"Fine" I said, following her upstairs.

I set my jetpack down beside my bed as did Nano. I glanced at my creepy creeper face painting above my bed before turning off the light and going to sleep.

~ Morning ~

Faint lights drifted through the window. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. The sun was only peeking over the horizon and Nano was still asleep.

I pushed the bed covers away and climbed out of bed. Peering out the window, I spotted a couple of burning skeletons in the distance. Normal morning routine.

What wasn't my normal morning routine, however, was the slight tickle in the back of my throat. I tried to suppress it, not wanting to wake Nano, but ended up running downstairs and coughing like crazy. Geez, I must be getting sick, I thought miserably. Shaking it off, I started my work for the day.

Normally, Nano would be the one to distract me. But today, my mind was on the seeds. Had they grown? What were they? After my mind couldn't take the nagging anymore, I decided to go check.

I turned on my jetpack and easily flew over to the separate farm island. Nano's normal crops were vibrant greens in the midst of the reds and oranges of the surrounding forest, a pleasant difference. What I found at the end of the plot, was not.

A small field of bright yellow dandelions sprawled across what used to be a dull green lawn. I landed right in front of them.

"Oh, shit" I mumbled miserably.

"What's the matter, Lal'?" I heard the familiar female voice behind me. I turned to see Nano land next to me. Before I could actually reply, my apprentice saw the yellow flowers growing past me and her jaw dropped.

"They're so pretty and bright!" Nano exclaimed, standing next to me and observing the small field of weeds.

"Um, yeah I guess-" I was cut off by a loud sneeze on my end. Nano jumped back.

"Geez, Lalna, are you getting sick or something?" she said as my eyes started to water.

"No, no, I think it's because-" I sneezed loudly mid-sentence. "-I'm allergic to dandelions" I finished, scratching the back of my neck sheepishly.

Nano was quiet for a moment before bursting out in laughter. She took a moment to compose herself. "Oh my god, Lalna. You're literally the worst" she said, almost bursting in laughter again. I crossed my arms.

"I didn't know they were flipping dandelion seeds! Who even needs dandelion seeds?" I argued, followed by another loud sneeze.

"Come on, let's get you inside. I'll sort the dandelions out" Nano said, leading me back inside. I know I should say this would make me learn a lesson. Maybe something like "Make sure you know what your flipping doing." But somehow I knew I'd just never learn.

But Nano would always learn from my mistakes.
