Carnival

"Wake up Anns!" I heard a boy say as he pushed my hair out of my face. I squinted and there stood Johnny in all his glory, dressed and everything. I smiled slightly and buried my head back in the covers. He pulled them down. "I have a surprise." He said taunting me to get up. I pulled the cover down he only saw my one eye. "What is it?" I asked. "It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you." He said smirking at me. "Ugh I guess your right. "Now get up and get ready." He said while pulling me out of bed. "Ugh!" I yelled. Johnny laughed. "Ha you gotta control your girl." Carson said while laughing at me. "Watch it bucko." I snapped back. He stopped laughing and continued doing whatever he was doing. I walked to the bathroom and got ready. I wore my hair naturally wavy. I put on a shirt crop top and denim shorts. I sat on the couch watching TV. I was so tired. I decided I should take a nap.
*2 hours later*
"Wake up." Johnny said softly. I shook my head no. He picked me up. "mmmm!" I said in grunted. I then laid my head down on his shoulder. I wrapped my legs around him and closed my eyes. I remember the hot sun on my back and him putting me in his car. I opened my eyes. "Where are we going?" I said looking around confused. "The c-" Carson began to say but Johnny cut him off. "Your surprise!" He exaggerated the word surprise so Carson wouldn't say where Johnny was taking me. It was about two in the afternoon and Johnny said it would take about 40 minutes to get there. The boys played music and I just closed my eyes.
*45 mins later*
Johnny woke me up and I got onto his back. "You brought me to the carnival?" I said in excitement. "Yes! Just for you!" Johnny said tilting his head back and we kissed. "Oh hey guys! I'm here too!" Carson said. We laughed and continued to walk. We went on some rides and we played the little side games too. Johnny won me a little stuffed horse since those are my favorite. We got some food and drinks. I ordered a corn dog and Johnny and Carson ordered a hot dog. After we ate that we decided to go on some more rides. It was about 7:00 pm now and it was golden hour. The sun was setting. I love sunsets I decided I wanted to go on the Ferris wheel. "Johnny lets go on the Ferris wheel!" I said while tugging his arm like a child would do. "Well me and Carson are going to get cotton candy. Here's a ticket. They made an announcement saying they are almost out." Johnny replied. "Oh ok. I'll come to you after I'm done. I went to the Ferris wheel and after about ten minutes I got on. I sat down and went on my phone. Someone sat next to me but I wasn't bothered to look. As we went around in a circle I would look at the sunset at the top. Soon enough people were getting off so it was just me and this kid stuck at the top. I felt my phone get ripped out of my hand. I looked up and saw the kid dangling it off the edge acting like he was going to drop it. I then realized it wasn't any type of kid. It was Hayden. "Give it back!" I yelled. "Not if you kiss me." As he said that he put his hand on my thigh. I screamed at the top of my lungs but then he put his hand over my mouth. "No no. If you do that then say good bye to your phone." He leaned in and started kissing me. He pulled back. "Kiss me or I'll drop your phone." He said that and we started to kiss.
Johnny's POV
As I was waiting inline, I heard someone scream. It sounded like Annie. I turned and looked at the Ferris wheel and saw two people kissing. I looked closer to see it was Annie and Hayden. I the ran through the crowded line and shoved people out of the way. I ran to the worker of Ferris wheel panicking. "Dude you gotta get them off the top please." I said while pointing up. He was an older dude so he wasn't caring that much. "Ah you don't know how much I've seen in my days. I've seen worse." He said ending that with a long laugh. "No listen to me you've got to get them down." I said starting to pace a little. "No can do sir." And as he said that I shoved him a little and moved the handle down. Which made them come down. "He-hey you can't do that!" He shouted. I ignored. When they got down to the bottom I pulled the lever back which made them stop at the ground. I ran up to Hayden and grabbed his shirt. "You wanna kiss my girlfriend agin huh? We'll see about that." And as I said that I punched him in his face. Everyone in line jumped back. Hayden punched back as well. "LEAVE!" I shouted. And with that he lifted up the bar holding them down. "Bye babe." He said smiling at Annie. As he was walking I kicked him in the back. I ran to Annie and held her tight. She was breaking heavily. Annie got on my back while I found Carson to go home.
Annie's POV
We all got into the car. "What happened?" Carson said breaking the silence. I opened my mouth to speak. As I was about to say something Johnny said it for me, "Hayden." He said with hatred and anger written all over his face. We soon got back to the dorm and I laid on the bed. I stared at the wall replaying what had happened today over and over in my head. My thoughts were interrupted by Johnny laying down next to me and hugging me. I soon fell asleep on his chest.
