The Android eyes blinked open. Revealing Y/Eye Color eyes.
The Android scanned around the room, pausing to look at its self in the two way mirror. It's head tilted to the side watching its own reflection.
"Creepy..." Chris said from his chair in the observation room.
The Android looked down at its hand cuffed to the table, lifting them to realize it was trapped.
It's stress level rose but the emotion on its face didn't change and it's LED stayed it's circling blue.
A Cyberlife mechanic had been commissioned to repair the damaged android for the interrogation. There was no actual damage, a component was simply dislodged. They wiped the blood of its skin but some red still stained it's grey uniform.
"Alright. Let's do this." Hank said leaving the observation room.
Everyone was tense after the last incident in the interrogation room. Where Ortiz's Android had shot Connor in the head and then self destructed. It wasn't Connors fault, he had to pressure the Android for a confession but he was also considerate. Unfortunately the Android was too stressed when assisted to the cells.
Hank entered the room and lay files on the table before taking a seat. He shuffled anxiously through his papers.
"Where am I?" The Android asked monotone
"I am Lieutenant Hank Anderson. You are at the Detroit Police Department. You have been arrested for the Murder of two people."
"I- I didn't kill anyone." It replied
Hank pouted and returned to shuffle his pages before taking a series of photographs out.
"Henry and Jacob Raytner."
The Android glanced at the pictures.
Her LED flashed red and emotion crossed her face."Henry" it whispered
"Why did you murder them?"
"No...I... no!" The Android said dropping it's head down in shame.
It's stress level rose, but Hank was very cautious.
"Tell me what happened." He said Calmly
It didn't respond
Hank sighed and sat up in his chair, he was about to get up
"You wouldn't believe me anyway. I'm going to be destroyed." It merely said
"Try me." Hank said returning his full attention
The Android looked up with its Y/eye color eyes and looked straight into Hanks eyes.
Hank could see the remorse in her eyes."Henry was...he was my friend. They all were my friends. He could be grumpy sometimes and not want to take his medication but I still cared for him. And then his son..." The Android pauses and dropped its head again.
"He never visited him. He didn't care. He came a few weeks before, Henry scolded him for something to do with drugs and Jacob left in a huff. Last night I heard a noise just after I had finished administering the last of my patients medicine. I went to go check on Henry and found Jacob attacking him. I tried to help but..."
Hank looked into the two-sided mirror, remembering what Connor had analyzed.
"But he pushed you down and by the time you got back up he had already killed his father." When Hank said that it boosted the androids confidence to talk to Hank
"He then came after me. I saw what he did to his father, a man he probably once loved. What would he do to an Android he didn't know." The Android paused "he grabbed me and shoved me against the wall, I managed to grab something off his belt and when I realized what it was I just acted so fast. But I should have been faster. I could have stopped him before he killed Henry."
The androids LED flashed red but her stress level was stable.
"It was self defense." Hank said
"Doesn't matter. I'll still be destroyed." It said
Hank felt saddened by that. He pursed his lips and wanted to leave before the Android could do anything like last time.
Hank left the interrogation room and went into the hall. Connor had just came out the observation room and I to the hall and caught Hank
"Lieutenant. Can I talk to the Android?" Connor asked
"Fuck no!" Hank grumped "why the fuck would I let you. After what happened last time? Besides we got a confession."
"I still have some questions" Connor started
"No." Hank ordered
Connor frowned and accepted Hanks answer.
Chris came out of the observation room.
"We're done Chris. You can take it to the cells. Just... be careful." Hank saidChris entered the room and the androids LED was a circling blue and had no signs of stress. The Android was compliant and Chris led it out into the hall without problem.
Gavin stood leaning on the wall and scowled, as the Android passed.
"Useless piece of robot shit." He spat
"Don't antagonis it." Connor said walking behind Chris
"Or what it might just bust a cap into your skull like last time." Gavin said smugly
"That's enough Detective Reed." Hank said
Gavin chuckled and wandered off.
The Android was obedient and went into the cell.Connor and Hank watched as the Android stayed in the cell and Chris locked it behind himself.
Hank was visibly unhappy "come on Connor. We have a lot of paper work to do." He said walking away.
Connor stood and stared at the Android. It sat diligently and simply looked straight. It doesn't seem very deviant. Connor thought.
As he turned to walk away, the Android whipped its head around to watch him leave. Connor sensed that and looked back.
The Android looked into Connors eyes before turning back to look at the wall.
She was hiding her deviancy.Hank and Connor sat filling in forms in an awkward silence. Well awkward for Hank anyway.
"Maybe Cyberlife will just reprogram her." Hank thought aloud
Connor paused and looked at Hank.
"She will be deconstructed so they can search for faults in her Bio-components ." Connor replied dryly"But Perhaps her being a prototype could work in her favor." Connor said sensing Hanks tension
"Hmm" Hank simply grumbled
