Chapter Eight - Day Of The Party

It's today. The party. The one that is going to be epic. Well anyways it's friday so I know I'll be enjoying this day. I jammed to Lana Del Rey and The Neighbourhood while showering and dressing. Those two where my favorite artists. I then put on my cute black bear shirt and some white jeggings. I call them that because it looks like jeans and leggings. My butt isn't small but it's big enough to show with these jeggings on.  I went back into my bath room to do my hair and make-up. I was done and went to turn off my music from my  walk in closet. I looked into my big mirror once more before hearing Alex.

"Riles! If you want to eat you got 10 minutes."

I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.I made my bowl and started eating.

"Wait so why did you tell me to hurry and eat if you don't like school?" I asked curiously.

"Well I don't but I know you would be pissed at me for being late so I had to tell you." he said. That is a good answer. If I was late in class, I'll be mad. I wouldn't want that to happen. I finished up my cereal and we headed out and off to school.

"Rileeyyy!" I heard while getting out of Alex's car. It was Nicole. She looked at me and smiled hard.

"You're butt is.." she grinned and hit it.

"Ow!  Nicole! My butt is what? It's now in pain from you hitting it hard." I laughed and sounded a little in pain.

"Big like always. Me and you can switch butts. You can have my little one and I have yours." she was laughing so hard that some students looked our way.

I laughed and wouldn't mind having a small tush but then I was perfectly fine with my body. Me and Nicole headed towards Courtney and then we all headed into the school.

"Hey sexy." I looked to my right and saw Connor.

"Hey."

"Riley you need to see Courts-" Nicole stopped once she saw Connor. She then said "Oh never mind you can see in lunch. Bye you guys!" she said to us grinning and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"Bye Nicole." I then turned my way to see Connor right by me. He was close to me. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. We were so close that I felt his body melting mines. He smiled and kissed my neck. He pulled away and still had a smile on his face.

"I'll see you later." he said. I couldn't move. I was shocked at what just happened. I snapped out of it and smiled back.

"Okay see you."  I walked to class wondering where he went if we had history class in about a few minutes. I saw Nicole and went towards her. She looked at me knowing something happened.

"What did he do?" I looked lost.

"He kissed my neck and just smiled." I said back. She looked at me smiling.

"So did you like it?"

"I don't know. I just was shocked. I didn't really like it."

"Maybe later on you will if he does it to you again. She said.

"Do what?" Alex said, right behind me.

"Nothing." I quickly said. Nicole just nodded. The last minute bell rung. That meant that the students should already be on their way or in class. Me and Alex started walking to history and I glanced around and saw Connor. He was coming out the boys bathroom. That's where he was heading to after he kissed my neck.  That wasn't it though. A girl came out behind him. She looked familiar. I realized who she was untill Ms.Robin came to unlock the door and we headed in. I sat in the front right by Alex. I was zoned out thinking about who that girl was. She was that girl that Alex was flirting with that one day. She had on Ashton High V-Ball captain on. Then Alex threw the paper with her number on the floor. What's her name. Damn I remember her talking to me before about voting for her. Hanna. Students hate her. It all came to me. She became volleyball captain after being kicked off the cheerleading team. She really didn't have friends. Even the volleyball team hated her. She's not a popular girl.  So why was Connor with her? In the bathroom?  No one liked her. I just said fuck it inside my head and zoned back into just in time to hear Ms.Robin call my name.

"Do you have you're homework?" she asked knowing I did.

"Yes." I said back. She took it and walked around asking the others if they had theirs.

I still was thinking about Connor and the girl. He kissed my neck and had me close to him. Then he's with another girl? Douche. Alex was right. I'm happy I listened to him because I could've had feelings for Connor. Lucky I didn't because I would be hurt. After the bell rung I headed into Spanish. I was back to myself.

Lunch came and I went to my locker and got my stuff fast before Connor even came.  He wasn't there. I went to the cafeteria and sat down after getting my food. Courtney, James,Nicole, and Jesse were already there.

"Hey." I said to everyone.

They all said hey back. I wanted to know about that hanna girl so I asked.

"You guys know about that hanna girl?" I asked

"Bitch." Nicole said.  "She's so annoying and like she just over does things."

"I agree with that." Courtney said.

"No one likes the girl." Jesse added. "She tried talking to every guy on the football team.  Then the band members!"

James nodded and said "She's not pretty either. She has all them freckles on her face and has a bump of fat on her stomach and arms."

"She is just nasty." Nicole said.

"Well guess who was with her in the bathroom? Connor." I said back

"Dude is an ass.  He will do any thing with any girl just to get in their pants. Once you know more about him, you'll hate him." Jesse said. Everyone just looked at jesse and just agreed. Including me.

Alex and me finally got back to the house.

"Riley.. " Alex said.

"Yes." I said back walking back to the couch after putting my stuff on the floor.

"Why are you acting weird? Like earlier when Nicole and you were talking. You snapped with that nothing word. What happened?" he looked at my worried but curious. I took a deep breath and told him.

"Connor kissed my neck.-" I said but he cut me off.

"What the hell?! When did this even happened?  Why didn't you scream or something?!" he said with anger.

"Just let me finish Alex.  Please. " I said. He looked with a sorry face but was still pissed and had a little jealously in him. Was I imagining that or..

"Riley. Im sorry. Tell me." Alex snapped me out of that moment and I nodded. I looked at him. His emotions were there. In his eyes. I could understand him being mad but jealous?  I started talking again.

"I was with Nicole and Court. We walked into the school and when I was walkinh towards my locker, Connor said hey sexy to me. I laughed and said hey. We started talking but Nicole interrupted us but then let us talk. She said something I smiled and once she left, I turned around to talk to him but he was right by me. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close to him. He kissed my neck and after a while we pulled away. I was just frozen. Shocked.  He told me he'll see me later and left to the bathroom. That's when I went to Nicole and told her and that's when you showed up. Then when we started to head to History class, waiting for Ms.Robbin, I saw him coming out the bath room, that's where he headed after he left talking to me. He had hanna with him. Coming out the bathroom right behind him. I didn't feel anything but annoyed. Like he kissed my neck then is with hanna. But I'm not hurt I'm happy because I listened to you."
