Chapter Twenty - A Night To Remember.

Tomorrow's Monday which means that I have school.

"A few more months and I'll be out of Ashton High." I said to myself.

"College?" Tina said back. I got startled by her. I turned around and smiled.

"Yeah. Definitely. I'll rather be there than where I'm at now." I remarked while sitting back onto my bed. Tina came into the room and onto the bed.

"I remember when me and your parents went to Ashton High. Amazing times. There were times when I dreaded being there but I made out from there and college. It's almost May 28th. You just need to do things to keep your mind off that. Your mom was the exact same as you. She would have notes after notes of the day we graduated and me and your dad will do fun things that keep her away from those notes. You just need to do things other than that." She smiled and that did help. "And other than those notes." We laughed and Alex came in and sat by us.

"Well Tina, you're right. Can I sleep it off? Eat it off?" I chuckled. She did also and nodded a yes. Mom called Tina's name to come help her so Tina left.

"We should do something later?" I asked and sorta demanded. He smiled and nodded.

"Something you'll love."

Midnight will be at Jesse's house from now on. Sadly but truly. He will be taking care of her a lot more than us. Plus sometime soon, we'll be going to Paris, hopefully. Alex had to take her out and her food/water bowl too. He took down the house and we went out to his car. I had Midnight and  he had everything else. Once we were settled, we drove to Jesse's house.

"Make sure she's always okay. I'll give you money for food and toys if she needs them." Alex said.

"Dude relax." Jesse said back, doing the relax motion too. That made me grin. "Don't worry. I'll pay and stuff. You and Riley will be doing whatever and I'll be here with three other people helping."

"Okay then. See you tomorrow." Alex said.

"Bye Jesse." I said. He said bye to us back and we were off to Riley's House. Yes I did say Riley's House.

Tina and my mom called me into my mom's room while Alex went downstairs.

"Alex and you are going somewhere later so look normal. No fancy or slutty. Normal." Tina said and I chuckled while my mom tapped her shoulder with a face. My mom nodded and started to speak.

"What she said. You and Alex need to go enjoy yourselfs. Me and Tina are going to be up watching movies. It's 7:00 o'clock. Be ready by 8. Now go do whatever you need to do hun."

"Remember to look like Riley." Tina called out and I couldn't help but laugh. I'm gonna chill and just change my clothes. I wanna wear all black so that's what I'll do. Wear all black. I put on some perfume on and started to change. Alex came in once I was putting on my shirt.

"You know then. Okay good." He smiled walking back to the hallway but came back

"You look gorgeous as always Riles." 

I didn't know where we were going so I just decided to be quiet and not ask anymore. The answer to me asking where we were going was a you'll see. I was blindfolded too. The car stopped and Alex got out. He opened my door and helped me out.

"Can I know now since we're here?" I asked annoyed. He gave me the same answer and I sighed. We started walking and I felt the ground get mushy. Mud? Sand?  We stopped and Alex took the blindfold off me. The view I saw was beautiful and I loved it.

The beach is small. It's like a hideout beach. No one was there but us. It did feel comfortable too be cause no one can't creep on us. There was a blanket. Alex grabbed my left hand and did the leading to the spot.

"The stars are beautiful." I said laying down and looking up to night sky.

"But not as beautiful as you." Alex said. He gave me a sweet kiss and I blushed. My stomach had butterflies and it seemed to be going on over and over again.  Alex turned me to him once I sat. He held my hands in his and looked at me.

"It's finally nice to have you alone like this. School is in my way and plus my football schedule is out of control. I want to just have a good night. A night with me and you right here, enjoying every moment we have tonight. Let's not talk about school or the weather. Let's talk about me and you. Let's make this moment last forever Riley. It's our night and we're going to enjoy it. Let's hear the waves while we kiss and hug and let's look at the night sky and count every star we see. Let's be Alex and Riley. And don't worry about school. We'll be home for school."

I couldn't help but blush and kiss him. He knew that was a yes. Our night is gonna be amazing. Just us two for the night.
