The twins we're joined by their shoulder for only 1 hour of their lives. But they always felt like they were connected. Whenever they touched their right shoulder the other could feel it. This got them interested in Morse code at a young age. It was more like Luis trying to learn it for school and the twins stole his homework. When Luis found them, they had already added on their own special signals. If they needed something repeated they would draw a circle on their shoulder. If they weren't ready to receive a message they would put their hand on their shoulder and tap with their thumb.
They would use this to tell each other jokes and talk past their bed time. They would use it during multiple choice test sometimes but tía Alicia found out and told them off for it.
