ok Lance is in space now lol I'll go back to the young stuff later

Lance sat down on the table and sighed. Another boring meeting. Keith was on his right and Pidge was on his left. No one was talking and the meeting hadn't started yet.
   "Ouch," Lance said.
"What?" Pidge asked.
"Keith just poked me," Lance said loudly.
"No I didn't!" Keith said even louder than Lance.
"Fine, deny it all you want," Lance mumbled, "I don't care." Keith just rolled his eyes.
"Uh! You did it again!" Lance said standing up.
"I'm not touching you Lance," Keith said standing up as well, "my hands literally haven't moved once."
Lance softy gasped, touched his right shoulder, and turned around. "Pidge?" he asked, "are you in on this too?" She scoffed at him.
"I'm not doing anything, don't look at me," she said.
Lance looked at his arm then gasped. He started freaking out.
"Lance what's wrong?" Pidge asked. Lance was having trouble breathing now, he had tears starting to form in his eyes. He ignored her and brushed passed her. He continued to stagger out of the room.
"What should we do?" Pidge asked Keith.
"Stay here and explain our absence to the others, I'll make sure Lance is okay," Keith responded. Pidge nodded and Keith raced out of the room to follow Lance.
When Keith got to Lance's room the door was already locked.
"Lance! It's Keith, open up." Keith knocked on the door. When Lance didn't respond he tried again "Lance I just need to make sure your alright!"
Then he heard a muffled, "¡Vete! Leave me alone."
"You can talk, that's good,"
"I'm fine Keith, go to the meeting."
"I'm not leaving you," Keith cringed on how cheesy it sounded. Lance never replied but Keith meant it when he said he wasn't leaving. He sat down with his back against the door and decided to rest his eyes for a couple of minutes.
Then Keith was falling backwards. The door had opened behind him. He grunted, rubbed his head, and sat up. He was now in Lance's room which had lots of papers scattered on the floor.
"What the-" Keith started.
"Ahh Keith What are you doing here??" Lance asked while trying to pick up the papers and hide them. Keith picks one up and reads it. It says 'everything's fine here, the garrison covered up the disappearance but...'
"Give me that," Lance said ripping it out of Keith's hands.
"What was that? It was like a letter but how would you get a letter in space? Did you write that?" Keith was very confused.
"Dios mío, okay whew, Keith, I uh have something to tell you, it's-" suddenly he was 14 again, talking to James. You idiot, the words banged around in his head, you're a jerk for thinking I'd believe something as stupid and childish as that. Lance took a deep breath and he was back in the present. Keith was staring at him expectingly.
"It's-it's," Lance sighed, "I can't tell you. I'm sorry Keith." Keith looked heartbroken and that made Lance feel really bad.
"Ok I guess I'll leave then," Keith said turning around.
"Wait Keith," Lance said grabbing his arm.
"Yeah."
"I really am sorry."
"Yeah," he gave a little smile, "I know, it's fine." Lance let go of Keith and he left.
Lance jumped on his bed and sighed. What was he going to do about Keith? And more importantly, what was he going to do about the letter for Hunk?
Lance decided he had to give the letter to Hunk, even if he didn't believe him. He took the letter and set off to look for Hunk.
He found him in the living room area with Pidge and Allura.
"Are you feeling better Lance?" Allura asked.
"Yeah yeah, I'm fine. Umm Hunk? Can you come with me for a minute?"
"Uh sure buddy," Hunk replied standing up.
"Wait what's that behind you back?" Pidge asked racing over to try and see the letter that Lance was trying to hide.
They wrestled a little, but Lance stuck his hand straight up so Pidge couldn't reach it. "Ugh Lance, Hunk! A little help?"
"Got it!" Hunk said, plucking it from Lance's hand. He started reading it.
"What's it say?" Pidge asked.
"It's a letter for me," Hunk answer.
"It's really only for Hunk, Pidge," Lance said, grabbing her arm so she wouldn't read the letter.
Pidge looked sad, but she didn't protest. As Hunk read the letter his eyebrows furrowed more and more.
"Lance," he said when he was finally done, "What is this?"
"It's not a joke. It's a real letter about real things."
"How?" He asked.
"I received the message from someone on Earth, they knew all of this. I promise I'm not making it up."
Hunk clutched the letter to his chest. "I believe you, this letter seams real. I just want to know HOW you got the message."
"I uh have this connection with someone on Earth. I can feel what they feel in our right shoulder."
    "Really? That's extraordinary," Allura said.
     "That's strange," Pidge said.
"But you're being really serious right now, I believe you Lance," Hunk said.
"Really? Thank you," Lance said giving Hunk a hug.
"Wait, that means," Pidge started, "when you thought Keith was poking you, that was actually..."
"Yeah that was her! She poked her own shoulder and I felt it!"
Pidge smirked, "a special connection with a girl... Lance do you have a girlfriend?"
Lance gaged, "bleh, it's my SISTER Pidge!"
     "Can I reply?" Hunk asked.
"Uh yeah tell me what you want to say, just uh slowly, and I'll tap it in Morse code," Lance said rolling up his right sleeve.
"Wait I know Morse code! Can I do it?" Pidge asked excitedly.
"Sure," Lance laugh, "let me make sure she's ready first."

That night Lance is laying in his bed.   He couldn't believe he'd told three people about his shoulder. He didn't tell them everything. He wasn't able to say Shannon's name out loud. He felt once he told them her name, he was forcing her to commit to them. He also felt that having a twin was somehow a secret. He used her as motivation and if he told people he had a twin, it might take away his drive. Lance sighed. He felt so lonely sleeping alone at night. Then he felt Shannon's hand on his shoulder and he smiled. He put his hand on his shoulder too. Although they weren't really touching, and they were light years apart, they felt closer to each other than they had in a long time. Lance calmed down and was able to fall asleep peacefully.

Also will y'all get mad at me if I skip to the reunion parts? Because that's where my motivation is rn but I still have scenes for when they're kids or when Lance is in space which I want to eventually write
Idk we'll see I'll probably go back and fourth with what I write
