Chapter 31 ~ Captured

THIRD PERSON POV

(in the WATCH TOWER)

"Everything is sustained here, Wonder Woman and I have managed to protect the Pope. Nothing to worry about Batman." 

"Very well, make sure to sen-" Batman was interrupted as Black canary came on the screen.

" Sorry to intrude but did you happen to send the team on a mission?" 

Batman glared at her and replied "No, why?" 

"I got an alert from the cave saying the Bio-Ship left. I checked the Cameras and half the team got in, including the pets." 

"Do you have contact with the team?" Black canary shook her and he sighed placed his fingers at the bridge of his nose.

"Im getting way to old for this." he whispered to himself and then looked back up, "ill contact the team to see where they went. Batman Out." he ended the face call and proceeded to call the team.

(IN THE BIOSHIP WITH THE TEAM LOLOL)

"gUYS BATMANS CALLING!" Chase yelled out pointing to the screen that said 'Batman calling'.

Aqualad looked at the screen, "Kid Flash go hide Harley Quinn the rest of you pretend like you're doing something important while i answer this." Kid Flash nodded and took harley to hide behind Miss Martians chair.

"Seriously thats your plan Mister Team leader?" Artemis groaned out face palming.  Aqualad dismissed her statement and walked towards the screen accepting the call from batman. When he answered the call Batman appeared on the screen with a disappointed face, bat glaring at  aqualad.

"Why did the bio ship leave without any notice." 

"Oh is that Batman? What a nice surprise!" Chase nervously laughed as he walked up next to Aqualad.

"We already have your coordinates, Black Canary and i will be on our way shortly. Dont move." and with that Batman ended the call.

"Robin, Star do you copy?" Miss M asked.

"Finally what was up with that, the mind link was down for like three minutes i could've died!"

"what about me?" i heard robin say in the mind link, i turned to look at him pouting. I smiled and squished his cheek.

"Don't worry i'm sure someone will notice if you died."

"GUYS THIS IS IMPORTANT!" 

"Don't yell- youll give me a headache." i groaned turning to face my Holo-watch as i signaled robin to go right. We turned the corner and continued walking down the hall way.

"Batmans on his way."

"HES WHAT!" i accidentally yelled out loud. I quickly covered my mouth and turned to Robin who was  looking behind us.

"Did you guys hear that? i think it came from over there." one of the jokers henchmen said, we could hear their footsteps running towards us.

"guys i fucked up. real bad" Robin and I started running down the hallway.

"You guys need to come back now." I ignored KFs voice, i glanced at the map and it showed Rob and i were getting closer to Roy.

"Were getting close, when we get there we go in and out. our safest thing to do without getting captured is blowing up a hole in the ceiling and you guys bringing us up. get our coordinated and be ready, we wont have much time." 

"Its in that door at the end of the hall on the right." Robin said pointing to it, we ran as fast as we could.

"You guys ready, were almost there."

"yes we are positioned. be careful."

We reached the wooden door and robin attempted to open it, but the door was locked. i pushed him aside and kicked it open.

There in the middle of the room was a dead looking Roy strapped to the chair. Robin and i rushed towards him, i got on my knees and took out my switch blade cutting the ropes around his knees.

"Check his pulse, is he still breathing?"

"Barely we need to get out now or none of us will get out of here alive." Rob answered looking up at the ceiling, I nodded and successfully cut the ropes tying roy to the chair. Robin grabbed onto him and pulled him to the side of the room.

"God I hope they're up there." I mumbled to myself as I threw the detonators up to the ceiling running to Robins side. Right as i got next to Robin the detonators went off and blew up the ceiling, debris falling and crashing on the floor.

"Look the ropes, hurry!" Robin yelled holding onto red arrow going the fastest he could through the pieces of the ceiling. I followed close behind and hooked his belt to the rope, followed by Roy. 

"Go on ahead and hurry ill wait for your rope." he nodded and was soon lifted up. 

"Star we are sending the next rope right now. be aware we must make this quick before jokers henchman get ahold of you."

"Im offended you'd even assume id get captu-" I was cut off when I felt a pinch in the back of my neck. I slowly brought my hand and took out the strange syringe, my eyes widened as I whipped my head back to see the joker smiling at me with his wicked smile.

"Nighty nighty little girl." and with that everything went black.

this is so short and is a disgrace to life since i can write way longer ones. 

omg guys i am 2nd in the dickgrayson category why tf is this like the biggest accomplishment of my life. thank you so much for 70k+ reads i don't deserve this at all because i'm shit at updating but i try. A lot, its just that i'm slowly falling out of this fandom since YJ is taking so long to RELEASE SEASON 3 but whatever its okay. Ive actually been wanting to finish this story for a long time. but i had so much planned and it wont make sense if i end it now.

i might take foever for a new chapter but guess what guys!!! IVE HAD THIS FOR TWO YEARS NOW and like 2 months. happy 1 year guys <3
