His Possession

Chapter 10

Beep..... beep..... beep.... beep

I groggily shut the alarm off. I looked at the time it was 7:30 am! Damn, I was going to be late if I didn't get my ass off the bed that second. I ran into the kitchen grabbed my bag and ran out of the house. I just managed to reach school on time. First 2 periods were boring cause they were maths. I fell asleep in the Second 2 cause they were chemistry. Recess was fun, Amy, Susan, Rick Alex Jacob and I were having the funniest conversation ever. How we got high on ice tea during a music assignment, at Susan's House. We were having such a good time when I got a call and I excused myself from the table.

I picked up the phone, in the middle of me laughing. I just couldn't control my laughter. I heard an extremely angry Ralph u thought to myself this was going to put me in a terrible mood so I just disconnected the call and went back inside the cafeteria only to see Rickrolling on the floor laughing and gripping his stomach while the rest of them were taking snap chat videos of this. I quickly opened my Snapchat and did the same.

The bell rang and we all scattered to our respective classes. The next 4 classes I had with only Jacob. The others were in other classes. We ended up talking more than working though everyone called it flirting. We spent the periods talking about destinations for vacations while talking we realised there was this amazing movie in the theatres. We made a plan to go for the movie on Saturday, 'Mama Mia! Here we go again'.

As soon as the lunch bell rang we ran out of class got our food trays and sat at our regular lunch table. It was 15 mins until the others came. We told them our plan they all agreed. Susan asked if we wanted to invite Ralph but the others opposed to it immediately saying I would only be with them and this was a friend's night out.

I reached home unpacked and quickly did all my homework. I even set the table and washed the dishes. Seeing this Emma was really surprised, she knew there was something up. After dinner also I offered to wash the dishes. She had given the phone back saying I needed it for school but under the condition that I give it back by 8.30 pm. I gave her the phone by 8 itself. She now definitely knew something was up as I always find excuses to keep my phone with me. She still didn't say anything though.

The next morning I woke up super early and made breakfast. I quickly got dressed and left the house on time. I reached school on time. I had finished all my homework the previous day so all the teachers were ok with me.
I didn't pay much attention the entire day. I ran home and sat to do my homework. I quickly set up the dinner table and cooked dinner. I gave my phone up by 6.30 (the earliest I've ever given it).

The entire week I followed this pattern I gave my phone up without Emma having to ask me I washed the dishes. And cooked dinner. On Friday I finally asked Emma if I could go for the movie promising her no more complaints from school. After convincing her for an hr she finally gave me permission to go.

I was in my room decking what to wear when I realised that I hadn't met Ralph in a week that's the longest he's stayed without beating me in out 8-month relation. I quickly shook the thoughts out of my head and concentrated on finding myself really cute clothes.

The next morning I got up early made breakfast and got back to finishing my homework. It took me 3 hrs to finally finish my homework by the time I was done the door was gently opened and James walked in calling me for lunch. I said I would be there in 10 mins as I was on the last equation of chemistry. He nodded and left the room. I finally finished the equation and ran down the stairs. Lunch was quite. Not the comfortable silence the awkward silence. I just silently ate my food. After lunch, I was washing the dishes when I heard raised voices from the living room. "What the hell! This is no way to behave with a younger sibling at home!" "I'll behave however I want it's my fucking life!" "That's no way to talk to your older sister have you forgotten all your manners!" "I'll do whatever the fuck I want!" "Lower your voice young man!" "I won't! And I'm leaving I'll be back late!" "If you step out of this house the doors will be closed forever!" "This isn't even your house!" with that I heard the door getting slammed. I quickly finished the last of the dishes.

When I walked into the living room Emma was furious. I asked her, "Can I ask you a question?" in a second her expression changed from angry to the calm patient person she was, "yes, of course, you can" "what happened between you and James?" I asked a bit hesitant. "oh nothing he was just being a brat. Nothing to worry about" I nodded "you should get ready don't you have the movie to go for." I was planning not to go to the movie."
"Don't be silly what happened me and James wasn't that serious I know you are worried but don't be." she gave me the most convincing smile. I hooded and ran up to my room to get ready. I put on an off-shouldered pink top and a short black skirt. I put on black heels to go with it. I put very light makeup and straightened my hair. I quickly grabbed my purse and a few dollars and waited patiently for Susan's call

Guys so sorry for the late update I just had a lot going on, with the school. We just had a swimming tryouts etc. I'm sorry I'll post the next chapter by the end of the week I promise
