Chapter 35

Ralph's POV

I didn't get why she had such a problem with me raping the person who ruined our happy family. I mean after everything we went through because of that bitch. We lost our small but perfect family.

Flashback

I could barely walk straight from my car to the house. I had just managed to enter the house from a the most important party of the year. The party farewell party thrown to us seniors by our freshers! I finally reached the kitchen, and swung open the refrigerator door and pulled out a bottle of lemonade. I finally found myself a little less drunk then before and decided to take a cold shower. The house was quite as my parents and sister had gone to find a good apartment for my sister. I had just stepped out of the shower When I got a call from the hospital saying my parents and sister had been in a horrible accident. My phone slipped from my hands I fell to the floor at once. I didn't know what to think i quickly got dressed and rushed to the hospital. I parked the car in a mess and ran towards the reception. The blonde lady there flashed me a fake smile and batted her eye lashes in desperate need of attention. I got to straight to the point and asked for doctor "Gilbert" she gave me the room number and I went there as quickly as possible. When I arrived I only saw my sister lying on the bed. Her face pale and white her body looking so fragile and small. Her breathing ever so lightly. The doctor turned around and informed me "I'm soo sorry to inform you but your parents are no more but she survived miraculously." she said pointing towards her frail body on lying on the bed. I walked towards her and sat on the stool placed next to the bed. I gently took her hand into mine and rubbed small circles. I was furious, hurt and anger took over my body all I ever wanted was to make the person pay for killing my parents. Seeing her in this condition stripped away any little  humanity or pity I had left for the bastard who murdered my parents.

That night I didn't sleep even a wink I was plotting my revenge. I had informed the best P.I agencies to find out who did this to my parent and finally after 5 Years I finally found out who the murderer was it was the girl I loved the bitch who pretends to be my everything knowing very well that she's taken away, my family! That fucking Bitch.

End of Flashback

"Ralph, she never killed anyone it was her dad and she only posed to be the killer after she found out that you were avenging out parents! She's not the killer!!!" my sister yelled. I looked at the body which was barely breathing I picked her up and rushed her to the hospital! On arriving seeing her almost lifeless body the doctors rushed her into the operation theatre.

A few hours later

"Doctor how is she? " I asked as soon as he came out of the ICU. "She's in a coma! Very unlikely for her to survive I'm sorry we are trying our best to save her but we can't say much at this point." is all he said and walked away. I saw her through the window her frail body filled with bruises, her lips swollen her once chubby cheeks now narrowed down to almost nothing her ribs showing through the hospital gwon, her pale face looked soo peaceful for once. I hated myself for everything. I Just want one chance and I'd make it right! I'll give her the life she deserves not the shit I put her through! I felt a hand on my shoulder and I turned around it was Ashley. My eyes were red and swollen. I couldn't stop hating myself for everything I put the pure soul through. Behind Ashley were Stephanie's parents, her brother, Jacob and Emma.

"I'm sorry all this is my fault. Please forgive me." I begged. "You asshole you ruined her life. She was living like a slave when she deserved to live like a queen! And for what a drunken mistake of mine!" yelled her dad. All the hatred I had for my parent's murder disappeared as I realised I intentionally killed Stephanie every day. I was a murder! At least her dad killed them by mistake that too when he was drunk! I killed someone being sober and that too intentionally.

The doctor returned with some reports and the news he gave shattered me completely!

"The patient has lost hope to live and is not responding to the medicines." The doctor spoke lowly. My heart broke I fell to the floor at once! "What do you mean lost hope to live??" asked her parents confused and angry. "I mean she doesn't have any hope to live, her mind is made that she doesn't want to survive this. Her body stopped responding to the medicines. This normally happens when the patient loses hope. She has a lot of internal injuries more than external including internal bleeding. These last 24 hrs are the most critical and her last. You'll should start saying your goodbyes these are the last moments of her life."
