The Mac's.

Chapter 45

     The Mac-Clinton's were done dressing up for Mackenzie's Christmas Carol night. Mackenzie was wearing a beautiful red and green gown, McKenna was wearing A white top and a red jean trousers with black sneakers, MacDonald was wearing his red shirt and black trousers with timberland shoe. Mr. Mac-Clinton was wearing his usual which is suit. Mrs. Mac-Clinton was wearing A lovely red gown. It was 6:pm and they all had to start leaving.

              They got to school and sat in the big hall to watch Mackenzie present. They were so proud of her because she still decided to present even with the fracture from the accident. It was a beautiful evening together with the family. But Mr. and Mrs Mac-Clinton didn't agree it was beautiful.

  McKenna walked out of the hall slowly. She wanted to go use the toilet. She was about taking a U turn when she saw someone familiar. It was Alex. She stood looking at him, she wanted to know what he was doing in her sister's school.. Alex sighted her too.

               " Hi McKenna!" Alex said. McKenna didn't reply, she was attempting to leave when Alex ran to her. "McKenna, I promise is nothing about me loving you. Just wait!" Alex pleaded. "Then what?" McKenna asked looking away. "Before I start, I'll like to say a sorry, because of what Carter did..." Alex didn't complete it. "Who told you?" McKenna asked being annoyed. "Just forget it, am sorry for bringing it up!" Alex apologized. "Efe met up with me this morning, she told me to ask you for forgiveness, that she's really sorry for what happened. I was the one who pressurized her to tell me what happened between you too and she did tell me!" Alex said. "Really? you both do gossip about me? right?" McKenna said rolling her eyes at Alex. "Not that way McKenna, she needed my help, I didn't have a choice. After all she helped me get through you.. when I......" Alex paused because he promised McKenna that it wasn't anything about them both. " I tried to tell you about Carter, his my half brother and I know him more than you do!" Alex said looking concerned. "It's fine Alex! let's forget about the two Traitors!" McKenna said as tears dropped down her eyes. "Why are you here?" McKenna asked. "Am here because I was called to work on the school magazine. Remember am an editor! remember I was the yearbook editor in high school?" Alex said smiling. "Yeah! a good one!" McKenna said smiling too. Alex was surprised why McKenna was acting Jovial with him. "is it a dream?" He asked himself.

         "Alex, I have started writing a book! can you help me Edit?" McKenna asked. "Why not?" Alex said. "Thanks!" McKenna said smiling. " You're welcome and always welcome, what's the title if I may ask?" Alex asked. "Um.. the Mac's!" McKenna said. "Then is the story of....." Alex said before he was interrupted. "Story of me and my family and any body associated with me!" McKenna said as they both smiled.
