Mrs Mac-Clinton was sited tiredly on her bed. She was very worried. It was 10:34 and Mr. Mac-Clinton was not yet home. " what if he has started..." she didn't complete her thoughts before McKenna walked in. And she prayed her thoughts were not true.
"Mummy...Mummy" She said entering inside with her short night gown. "Kenna, you're now turning into a woman!" Her mom said smiling. "Why?...How? I don't understand" Kenna asked surprised. "I mean your figure eight!" her mom said. "Mom! Really?" Kenna asked shyly. "Come sit here!" I have somethings to discuss with you. This is a mother and daughter talk now!" Her mom said. "Okay mom, but before then,why are you worried? you're looking perplexed!" McKenna said. "It's your father,look at the time! his not yet back from work!" she said tiredly. "Have you tried his number?" McKenna asked "Yeah, so many time now. He seem not to be picking!" She complained. "Mom, this is not the first time this is happening now, he will surely come back many is because of his work" McKenna assured her mom. "He will be back soon" she added. "Yeah, is not the first time. But the first time it happened, my friend called me that he saw him entering into the hotel with a lady, how am I suppose not to think is doing the same now? what work will make him close this late?" Mrs. Mac-Clinton thought to herself.
"So the talk mom" McKenna said. "Um... I want to tell you that you're now turning into a woman. I want you to be careful of how you relate with the opposite sex. you know you're seventeen years old now? and you've started your.....you understand!. So if you....you know!. You're just gonna get pregnant. and don't also forget our family rules, remember that you're loved. so you could also bring any boy in your life for your parents to know. Okay? As you've started college remember that not all guys mean what they say to you. Some might be infatuation because not all college guys are matured, some just want to because others are doing it. just know that any guy who want more than friendship is not the right guy for you okay?. Go out there and make good friends okay? is a new phase of life for you. Maximize it alright" Mrs. Mac-Clinton told her daughter. "Okay mom and thank you!" McKenna said before leaving to sleep.
