"Class, am professor Jones I'll be taking you on "Human right" a subject under law. Why teach human right? As lawyers, we need to know the right of others so that with that you'll be able to win cases in the court of law. And also, government have commanded human right to be taught in schools as a means of safeguarding human right in the country. We're gonna be talking more on that okay? but now I'll be giving you my lecture room rules!" Professor Jones said and continued when he found out that the student were all ears. "There should be no bubble gum in my class if you don't want to sent out of lecture room! I mean every word am saying now!. Two, there should be no sleeping here, that's why this place is called a lecture room not a bedroom, if you're caught sleeping, you'll loose 10 marks. I'll be watching out, if you keep sleeping and keep losing mark, am afraid it calls for a carryover!. Three, whenever am teaching, you jot down something that will help your grades, who know if that will come out in your test?. There are going to be projects, group and teamwork too. and is the group that co-operates more that gets the highest score. My projects and assignments must be submitted on time to attract an "A". and..." Professor Jones kept on giving rules and instruction.
"Too much!" McKenna muttered to herself. "A professor indeed!" She added. "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" Kenna could hear snores, she turned her face to the left and saw a girl sleeping. She tapped the girl and she opened her eyes putting on her falling glasses on very well. "Thank you!" She whispered to McKenna. McKenna looked at her and then faced the professor. "Looks weird!" she said to herself.
*************
"Hey...Hey," a panting girl called out to McKenna after professor Jones lecture. McKenna looked back. "Oh you!" she said smiling. "I really thank ya...for waking me up!" The girl said. "Not a big deal!" McKenna said. "With prof. Jones, it's really a big deal I would have loosed ten marks today from our upcoming test." The girl said. "Is he really serious about that?" McKenna asked. "Ya...my elder sister who once attended this college before told me about prof; a man who doesn't make empty threats" the girl said.
"really?" McKenna asked. "Yeah, by the way am Efetobore Cokers" the girl said. "Gosh! sounds weird!" McKenna said to her while Efetobore smiled. "It might sound weird but it means a good thing. Am a Delta Warri girl...But you can call me Efe if Tobore is so hard to pronounce, what about you?" Efe cokers asked McKenna. "Am McKenna Mac-Clinton"McKenna said. "Wow" nice name, sounds foreign; a lot of Mac" Efe complimented. "Thanks" McKenna said smiling. "Alright lets start going to the hostel!" Efe said to McKenna. "E..Efi" McKenna said "E.F.E!" Efe corrected even spelling it out for her. "Am sorry, I promise to make pronouncing your name an assignment" McKenna said while they both started laughing. "Its not hard to pronounce at all" Efe said being kind of annoyed. "Sorry! I wanted to tell you that I live off-campus" McKenna said. "Really? how I wish" Efe said. "Wish what?" McKenna asked being confused. "I wish I come to college from home! but by parents won't allow me" she complains a lot about me being too dependent and that I sleep a lot" Efe said. "Obviously!" McKenna taunted. "Obviously what?" Efe asked. "It's obvious you sleep a lot!" McKenna said. "See ya tomorrow!" McKenna said. "See ya!" They both said parting ways. As McKenna walked to meet her brother, she noticed that her and Efe Cokers had different interest; she wanted to live in the campus but Efe wanted to live off-campus!
