Taylor's pov

I remember Matt saying something about a Bernie, but I can't remember.."Hey does anyone remember who Bernie is?" I ask curiously. "Bernie was Matts dog. Matt happened to love that dog with everything he had... We have to go to Matts house!" Hayes said to everyone. "Well then, let go!" I yelled as we ran out the door.

When we got to Matt's house, we stood there. Tears were in our eyes as soon as we filed out of the car. "Please let us be right," I prayed silently."Well, here goes nothing!" I said to the boys as I walked up to the door, and knocked, breathing heavily. "Who is it?" His mother called on the other side. "The magcon boys.. We need Bernie. He's kinda a big deal to us right now.." I called back and the door open revealing someone that used to be so happy, now she was sad. She held up the leash to the dog and handed it to us. "Here. Take the dog on walk. I need him back by 5:30." "So in 30 minutes then? We only need him for 5!" Jack J tells her. "Bye boys, love y'all!" She smiled weakly. "Love you to!!" We waved back.

I grabbed the dog and took him over to where the car was. "Check the collar! It has to be there!" I yelled to the boys. They took off the collar and held the dog by the waist. "Guys there's something written right here!" Jack G points to the writing on the collar.

The place where The bad luck started... THE WRECK!!I know where that is! "Hayes go give the dog back. And hurry!! We need to go back to the wreck!" I yell as we all get in the car and wait for Hayes to get back.

Going back to the place feels so weird. When we're finally there, I put the car in park and when get out. The last person to get out is Shawn, and Shawn being Shawn trips as he falls. "Ouch guys, I broke my ankle... Guys it really hurts!" "Nice going!" I answer him, but them I look up an see Nash, Matt, Carter all standing there laughing at him. "Shawn, you didn't fall. The boys pushed you," I whispered to him,"Mahogany and Jacob, y'all take him to the hospital while I try to find Cameron. Mite rest of y'all, come with me." I order around.

"Guys...I'm scared! What if h-" "no what ifs! Cameron is fine! He doesn't break as easy as the others do." Jack j corrects jack g. "EVERYONE SHUT UP AND STOP TALKING ABOUT PEOPLE DYING OKAY?!" Hayes jumped in front of us and turned back around like everything was normal," wait, guys, do you see that person. It looks like Cameron...IT IS CAMERON!!!!" We all turn our heads to see a drunk Cameron tripping and falling with every step he takes. "CAMERON!!!"Hayes starts yelling and soon he's shrinks into a ball, screaming and crying. "Shhh, Hayes, it's alright. Everything will be ok. Hayes it's alright." Jack j tries to calm him down while Jack g goes over to the road. "Cam, you need to get off the road. CAMERON GET AWAY FROM THERE!" He yells trying to get Cam's attention. "NO!! IVE ALREADY LOST THREE OF MY BROTHERS!! ICANT LIVE WITHOUT THEM!!!" "Cam, we all have. Hayes lost his real brother along with 2 others. Please don't make it four.. We all need you!" "He's not listening, he's drunk as fuck." I yell to Jack. Suddenly I hear a loud honk and look over to the left of Cameron and see a giant semi headed his way. "CAM,YOU HAVE TO MOVE!!" I yell at him. He just stands there and right before he gets hit he looks over to Hayes and says "I love you guys. Life is a war, and unfortunately, I have lost this battle. I'll see y'all soon."

Without thinking, I run over and jump I front of Cameron, knocking him out of the way. I feel my shirt get wet and realize that Cam is crying. "Shhh Cam, it's ok it-" "WHY DIDNT YOU LET ME DIE?!! I WANTED TO GET HIT! I NEED TO GET AWAY FROM THIS WORLD! PLEASE LET ME DIE!!"he suddenly goes quiet,"I just want to wake up and be happy, I want to be with Nash ad Matt and Carter.. I can't live in this cruel world much longer." "Cam, if you died, we would be in much more misery than we already are. We would lose another friend, another brother, and it wouldn't be right!!" I cry out to him. "I'm sorry Tay, I didn't think about the pain of others. It's just hard to live without knowing what's going to happen to my friends, and always being scared that someone might die that day!" "I understand what you're going through, cuz I'm going through the same thing. Come on, let's go back to the group." We get up and walk over to the rest of the boys to see that Hayes is asleep in Jack J's arms after all that crying. I start walking to car with Hayes in Jack J's arms, and I giving support to Cameron. Jack G goes to open the door for Cam to get in and without saying a word, Jack j also gets in with Hayes. Suddenly a loud boom goes off and Hayes shoots up yelling "What happened! What's going on!" "A gun shot somewhere!" I answer him, seeming more worried about who was shot rather who shot the gun. Hayes looks over beside him and starts freaking out again. "Hayes, what's wrong, why did you see?" I ask. I get out of the car and go over to the side to see Jack g breathing as hard as he can, trying to catch his breath. Jack j was right beside him yelling CALL 911! Soon Cameron finally comes out of his daze and yells "SOMEONE CALL 9-1-FUCKING-1! JACK IS DYING AND NO ON IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!" Hayes grabs my phone and calls them.

As Hayes is on the phone with them, Jack says "I love you guys. Y'all are my brothers and I don't know w-where I would be without you. I love you guys with all my heart and I will look after y'all in heaven. Jack, I n-need you to stay strong for me, keep me in y-your t-thoughts and never f-f-forget me. You were my best friend and I-I-I love," his breathing finally stops,"you" and he closes his eyes.
