Chapter 20

"Guys, we are not going to let death win! I have been too sad for too long! If you think anything should change and that we should give up, please walk out of this room and never walk back in. I'm done with being a baby when something bad happens." I tell them while attempting to sit up, but failing do to my broken ribs. "Bu-but how? You can't beat death?!?" Hayes asks sort of worried. "It's not death I'm afraid of, it's the monsters causing the death. Now, here's what we're going to do..."

Jack G pov

I walk a little farther in the mist. There's nothing here! It's just mist! I don't even know what I'm stepping on! "Jack Gilinsky!" A voice booms. "Y-y-yes? Who is this?! Why am I here? I should be with my friends!" I yell into empty space. "You are in the Mid-land. This is the place where you get chosen to see where exactly you're going to go. You're friends. Matthew, Hamilton, and Carter. They have all given up all things. They've failed all tests that were given to them. I shall give you the same task. Safe your friends. They need help. Help them. If you succeed, you will move on to heaven, if not, well I'm sure you know what will happen," suddenly, fire shot up all around me. Hell, this place was hell. "I understand. I know what to do."

First, I've got some ideas of my own.

I go back to Earth, and find my way to the hospital. 'Okay, now what exactly am I going to do first?' Maybe listening to them might help, but they'll just whine much more than they probably already have.

"It's not death I'm afraid of, it's the monsters causing the death. Now, here's what we're going to do, if someone sees something, now it's nothing. We will not get hurt. We will not cry. We are officially fighting." Their trying to fight against me! I'm trying to help. "Jack! I know you can hear me! This isn't Matt or Nash or Carter, it's me. Jack. Gilinsky. You know, you're neatest friend ever!" I attempt getting his attention, if there's one thing I know, it's how to let family listen. This is exactly what I'm doing. He looks up from the group an straight at me. "Jack? Jack!!!" He runs over to me and I look down at him. "Jack. I need you to do something. I need you to die. I need you to die so that we can be together and you can be happy! This will work, I promise. I'm not with the other dudes. It's just that, I really need you to do this, then I can finish with what I'm working on." I explain, the other magcon people walking around Jack. He just nods an walks towards the window. Looking back he smiles at everyone. "Guys, this is the same window that Aaron jumped out of! I want to be like Aaron!!" And he jumped. That's 3 people who commute suicide! The other people surround the window and look at eachother, when Hayes speaks up. "You heard him! No crying! We will beat this! One way or another!!"
