Please Help Me

After yesterday, it seems that my ten bucks is just a step away from me. Since Pidge and I sit close to each other, I can easily ask her to pay up. Now, since Keith knows my name, I could also ask him to bargain for me!

"Pay up, Pidge." I said, looking tough.

"No can do, Lance." Pidge said, holding my ten bucks in her hand while looking smug.

I grit my teeth and clenched my fists. "Alright, you leave me no choice!" I exclaimed and then crossed my arms and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath as I call on the legendary man who will grant me my ten bucks.

"Keith! Come over here!"

"No."

My jaw dropped as he instantly pushed me aside and Pidge was laughing. "Hey Hunk, did you hear that embarrassing thing?" She exclaimed and Hunk came over to us and started laughing with her. "Oh man, you should just really give up on your ten bucks. Like, you know, what difference will it make? Besides, I made cookies back home so would you like one?" He said, offering me a cookie.

"Thanks, Hunk. But you know, I was saving that ten bucks." I said, biting off a large chunk off the cookie.

"Saving for what?" A strange voice asked.

I looked behind me and it was Keith! Holy cow, what does he want? After harshly declining me, now he's butting in? Sorry mister, no thanks! "I don't think you need to know that, Keith." I said, eating the whole cookie. "I thought you want your ten bucks back, Link?" He said, oh so confident.

"And who the heck is Link?" Pidge said and Keith blushed. "Aren't you Link..? Or was it Luke?" He said and I grunted. "Really, thanks a lot Kyle." I told Keith sarcastically and he grabbed my collar all of a sudden. "The name's Keith! And I got something to talk to you about!" He said and pulled me outside the classroom while ahold of my collar.

"Let go Keith!" I said and he did.

"I'm sorry Lance, but I need your cooperation once again." He said, like an innocent child.

What is this sudden change around him? I'm kind of confused. "If you knew my name, then why did you keep calling me Link or Luke?" I asked him. "Because Link rhymes with sink and Luke rhymes with puke. Just thought it really symbolized you. And Lance rhymes with chance, so I'm giving you that chance and I might be able to get your ten bucks to you." He said and I was the one grabbing his collar now.

"What the heck? I get laughed at because of you! Do your own chores!" I shouted at him and he looked at me with such pitiful eyes. Is he a dog? A cat? Ugh!

I finally let him go and turned my back away from him. "I'm sorry Lance, but this will be the last time. I need your help. After that I will be the one to help you." He said and I loked at him again and sighed. How come I'm so gullible? I nodded and then he smiled so brightly again and I'm just showered by this light that I can't even see!

"Stop emitting such dangerous lights! It's blinding!" I exclaimed.

"Lights...?" He said and I realized I'm just hallucinating it.

He pulled my arm and then he whispered something in my ear. "Please help me. " I suddenly pulled back, blushing, because what the hell was that?! "Woah, hang on for a second there, buddy! Too close!" I exclaimed and he got this sour expression on his face. Gah! How come I'm so weak?

"I've talked to Shiro and he's been telling me nothing but that secret admirer of his. He showed me my letter and he thought that I was the one he secretly likes..." He said and I could tell Keith is really confused right now. "So you want me to do what exactly?" I asked him. He grabbed my hands and bowed down.

"Please make up a story about a  person from that letter!" He said and I smiled anxiously. "You mean you want me to act as a bridge between you two?" I said and he shook his head. "Shiro thinks that letter came from his crush. Help me Lance. You must help me." He said, very determined.

"We're going to create a false love story and you don't have any worries about it?" I asked him and he nodded. "What's the harm in it? All I care about is never being found out. Besides, what if Shiro's crush likes him too?" Keith said with a pokerface. "And you want Shiro to think that it was his crush who sent that letter?" I said to clear things up and Keith nodded. Wow, he intends to keep his love forever unrequited huh. That's a brave decision.

"Alright, I'm doing it. For the sake of my ten bucks and also, for your sake." I said and Keith smiled. "Yeah, thanks. Now I'm going back to class." He said and dismissed all of what I said as easy as that! You got to be kidding me!

"No problem. Yipee." I said and made it back to the classroom. I'm really dead.

Btw, vld season 7 has got me in the loins. I dont think the lgbt rep got presented the way most fans want to? And I, too, was extremely disappointed. I hope s8 will recover Voltron series since it will be the last one. Gotta stay hyped. And much respect to the writers tho, i know theyre just trying to make a living
