Hi Ria here! I had to delete the Race Ya Klance fic because I believed it has so many plot holes. So here I am, trying to do another Klance fic in modern au. Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

"Congratulations to Keith Kogane for topping the mock exam results once again."
Keith. Keith. Keith.
It's all I've heard since I've come to this damned school. Is Keith the only student here? Is no one speaking of the fact that he's gone so overboard already? He's getting on my nerves! Sit down and humble yourself Kogane!
"Wow, Keith must be so amazing." Pidge, my friend said.
"You're smarter than that goon! How come you didn't get top?" I asked her while she's answering some mathematics equation.
"That's because I did not take the mock exams. I already took that mock exam ten months ago. I'm reserved for scholarships." She said and my jaw dropped. Some people just don't need to work their brains off! "What about you Hunk?" I asked the big guy next to me, reading a weekly teenmag that's just bought in the near store. "Ah, I didn't care about how I placed amyway. It's a matter of getting in or not." He said and I grit my teeth.
"Whatever! Keith has had too much fun with rising star action. He's also getting all the girls!" I shouted. "Yeah Lance, that's the real tragedy here. Girls not picking the loser." Pidge sid and I stood up from my chair. "I'm gonna beat him home and he'll know I exist. He's gonna have a competition he never knew he had!" I exclaimed.
"I bet you can't even beat him in anything." Hunk said.
"Well, how about we bet you to try to make Keith notice you. Then we'll see." Pidge said and I nodded.
I took five cents from my pocket and laid it out on the table. Pidge took them all and threw them at me. "Are you mocking us? Pay UP!" She slammed her hands on the desk. "Alright, I'll pay ten bucks!" I said and Pidge and Hunk agreed finally. "Sure!" They said and shook their hands with mine.
I'm gonna make that Keith Kogane wet his pants and I'll win my ten bucks, and my popularity! It's the perfect plan.
