"Hahaha, Good Luck working with a DEAF guy!" shouted one of my 'supposedly friends' Annie Wood was always a bitch, always had been and always intended to be. Annie was only interested in me because she had a thing for my older brother who has planted himself off to University, so now he's not here she's deciding to be a twat.

"Annie, don't even bother starting." I growled back at her. "Oooh Annie don't start, don't be such a pussy all your life Lily." she grinned looking at her companions.  I walked up to her, slowly wrapped my hand round her wrist and pulled her closer to me, "For fuck sake all you do is pick on people, just because you haven't got the decency to be polite to someone who's slightly different to you, doesn't mean you can pick on the people that are fucking polite!" I saw small bits of spit fly onto her face as I expressed my anger.

Mikey seemed sweet, he didn't, well couldn't understand what anyone was saying about him, he didn't have that ability. Mikey got me, like no other losers did.

I slowly walked away down to the end of the corridor, and behind me I heard rage, turning around I saw Annie fly over to me and push me towards the double doors. The pain escalated in my head, as I felt a warm substance slide down my cheek. "Don't fucking get in my face like that!" she screamed. I mean really screamed, it actually hurt my ears! I slowly got back up, and stood infront of her, and thats when I realised, she wasn't actually that different. Her make-up was patchy, her mascara was smudged and her hair had completely lost it's parting, she only tried that hard to look different because she knew she actually wasn't that different.

Adrenaline swam through my blood stream, drowning anything that got in it's way. Annie got me angry, she always knew how to aswell, that's why it irritated me even more.

"You think your so different from the res' of us. Your make-up is patchy, your hair is a state, you get bits in your teeth when you eat certain foods, and your mascara is smudged. Why do you and your ridiculous 'friends' think it's ok to bully the rest of us, when your just the same!?" I shouted. A crowd formed around us, isolating us in this small angry world.

"I am different from all of you. My father has money, I live in a huge house, AND I don't hang around with wierd deaf people!" I squinted my eyes, just a little to try imagine her with a nice personality, scrap that, I couldn't imagine it. "Your different? Your father has money, because he inherited it from his mother when she passed, you live in a huge house because thats what the money was spent on, and wierd deaf people? Oh seriously, get your head out your arse, he's not wierd, he's lovely, he may not hear me, and I may not know him quite well, but he's a lot nicer than you could ever be." Tears formed in her eyes, I knew I had upset her, but judging people like that, was definitely not the way I roll.

In a strange but genuine way, I took Mikeys hand, and kissed his cheek, he may not hear me, but he can see me, and he could see the passion in my eyes that I wasn't afraid to stand up for what I believe in. Mikey smiled, and gave me a friendly hug. There we go again, he made me feel all warm and tingly. Just like I said before.
