Jack's POV
As we feel, I can feel the wind roaring under my new wings. Mark looked a little panicked as we fell, until I could hear voice that sounded like Mark's, screaming at me to stop. The problem was, his mouth wasn't moving.I then looked down and noticed that we were drawing awfully close to the forest, so I curved my wings to slow us down.
I eventually landed on my feet, but Mark's feet dragged behind him. Mark glared at me, but grinned when I started laughing. "You could never be angry at me for long!", I exclaimed. He raised an eyebrow, egging me on.
"Come on, we need to start looking for our first figure. At the entrance, a sign read,

"What the hell?" Mark inquired. I shrugged and started walking, Mark following me. The forest had no flowers, but had a looming fog that covered everything around us. Eventually, I noticed that the fog seemed to be following us. But I thought that it was just my imagination, so I didn't say anything.
We eventually came to a clearing with a stone altar in the center. To be continued...
