Jaiden x Reader: Coming Out

You drive to your childhood home to meet your parents. Today was the day you was coming out to them. Your parents always look down on LGBT people not knowing their daughter was one as well. You decided to tell them once you moved out and didn't need any support from them.

Well now you're 24, got a nice apartment, great job with good paid and a loving partner. The light stop red and you begin to think of all the outcome of the situation. Will they still love me? What if they disown me? What if I'm not good enough for them. As you was is your deep thoughts, a hand creeped on to your and holds it tight yet firm.

You look at the passenger seat and see your girlfriend with a warm smile. "Everything will be alright love don't worry so much." Jaiden reassures. "That's easy for you to say. You're family and friends support you, I don't know if mine will be the same." The brunette lay her small hand on your face and cup it.

"They will. And they're crazy not to keep you in their life just because you're (Gay/Bi/Pan/Queer)." You smile at Jaiden. "You're right. I just hope they accept my life choice." The light turn green and you continue driving. Despite being comfort about this, you couldn't help but have doubts.

You finally pull up at your parents house. You and Jaiden get out of the car/truck and knock on the door. Your mother answer. "Y/n! I haven't seen you in so long!" Your mom hug you and signal you and Jaiden inside. "F/n, Y/n's and her friend Jaiden is here!"Mom shouted. You and Jaiden look at each other and snicker. Your dad come out of the kitchen. "Baby, come give your dad a hug." He has his arms out. You went over to him and hug him.

Release from the hug, you sit down on the couch in the living room with Jaiden. "How everything been with you?" Your parents asked together. "It been good." They look over at Jaiden. "And what about you dear?" "Everything's good." They smile and sit down. You notice a picture of you, your parents and sibling(if you have any) on the wall. 'I hope it'll stay the same after I come out.'

"So what bring you here all the way from LA Y/n?" Your mom asked. "I wanna tell you and dad something." You said. "What is it?" Dad asked. You look over at Jaiden that whispers, "You got this." You took a deep breath and look at the people that raise you to who you are today. "Mom, Dad. I'm (Gay/Bi/Pan/Queer)." You announces with a shaky voice and a knot inside your stomach.

Your parents just stared at you. No words was exchanged, just silence. What seem like seconds, felt like hours to you. "Are you serious?" Your mother asked with no emotion in her voice. "Yes mama." You answer back. Your dad just sat there, making you fear for the worst.

Out of nowhere, your father got up and give you a bear hug. You were startled by the embrace. You look at his face and see tears coming down, and it's surprising because your dad isn't the type to cry. Shortly after your mom joined in on the hug. Tears that you were holding in Come falling down your s/c face.

After a minute, you three let go. "Why didn't you tell us soon baby?" Your dad asked. "I was scared.....At the time I didn't know if you'll be mad or supporting, so I decided to tell you and mom once I'm out of the house." Your Mother was shock at your reason. "Y/n, you're our daughter. And we may not like your choices, but we'll be there for you no matter what." You wipe your tear. "Thank you mama." As everyone was calming down, your dad look over at Jaiden.

"So is she your...." You knew what your dad was gonna asked so you answered, "Yes. She's my girlfriend." Jaiden gets up awkwardly. "Hi." "We've been together for two years now." You grab her hand. "I see.." Dad analyze her for a second despite knowing her for three years. He walk over towards her.

"Look just because you're a girl doesn't mean I won't hurt you if you EVER hurt my little girl in ANY shape, way or form." His voice stern with seriousness. Jaiden face got a little pale. "Don't worry sir. I wouldn't hurt Y/n even if I had to." "Well at least she's with someone that treats her like a princess." Your mother said.

The four of you talked for hours and nighttime falls around and Jaiden decided to stay at your parents place for tonight and leave the following morning. You two are in your old room that is now a guest bedroom. "How do you feel after today?" Jaiden asked laying in bed beside you. "Relief that I don't have to hide this secret anymore and joy that my parents still love me." You response with a smile.

"And I'm happy for you. Although there's one thing they said wrong." You look at her confused. "What's that?" "I treat and respect you like a GODDESS." She mentions. You laugh at her statement. "And that goes the same to you too."
