Jaiden x Reader: New Year Eve

Let get things straight, I DON'T like parties(mostly huge one). There's always too many people and strangers could walk in and out as they please, the smell of alcohol roam around the place, and so many hookups! I prefer a night with good food, a nice movie, and comfortable pajamas on, but my friend Bff/n think otherwise.

"Come on Y/n! My friend Adam invited me and I need someone to come with me!" "I'm not going Bff/n. You know parties aren't my scene." "Please? I promise that you'll have a good night, plus it's New Year Eve so you might get a kiss tonight." She imitated a kissy face.

I think about it for a second and answer, "Why not? I need some fun in my life." A smile from ear to ear from on my friend's face. "Yesss! You won't regret." I gave her a fake smile and got up from my couch to go to my room. My f/c crop too hoodie and black pants spot my eyes and I grabbed them. It didn't take long to get ready.

"Girl are you ready," Bff/n asked, peaking through my bedroom. I nodded my head. "Good now let's go!" She always wanna go somewhere else other than her apartment. I get some cash and my phone before I lock the door.

The drive there wasn't long, we made it to a house in about 15 minutes. The front yard had people talking, making out, and drinking. Loud music could be heard from the car. We enter the house and there had to be at least 100 people here.  People crowded the house and it made me uncomfortable.

"Hey, I'm gonna get something to drink. Want some," Bff/n asked. "I'm good, go ahead," I shake my head. Bff/n went into to kitchen and got some beer. I sat down in the living room and just watch the people around me. This always happens, I get drag to a party, my friend leaves me, and I'm by myself. I sat there on my phone for twenty minutes until I got bored.

The patio didn't have too many people so I went over there. The scenery was much better and quieter than before. I sat down at a bench and soon after, a girl sitting beside me. I didn't want to bother her so I let her be. She was quite pretty, with long brown hair and olive skin. She seems like she's Asian, but I don't wanna assume something.

I guess I was staring at her because she looks at me and started talking. "You're enjoying the view?" I snapped out of it and started to apologize. "I'm sorry, I don't know I was staring." Nice one Y/n. Surprisingly, she laughed, "Don't worry, I do the same thing so we're even. I'm Jaiden." She reaches out her hand " Y/n, it's nice to meet you." I shake her hand.

I  only have known her for almost an hour, but it felt like I knew her a long time. We talked about our careers, childhood and why we're here. Her friend Adam dragged her here also so I'm not alone. Finished with her story, Jaiden looks on her phone and grin. "It's 11:59. One minute left." Damn time move fast as hell. "I didn't realize." I scratch the back of my neck. People start counting down from 10.

"Wanna go out on a date?"

I smile at her and answered, "I would love to."

She smiles at my answer."I'm glad to hear that."

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We kissed for five seconds until I let go. "Happy New Year, Jaiden." "Happy New Year Y/n." I have a feeling that 2019 would be a great year for me and Jaiden.
