Stiles didn't know what to do anymore.. Weeks past and nothing happened. At school, he had tried to hang out with other people--Danny--who really didn't like him too much after their awkward chats about whether he found Stiles attractive.. Still, being with Scott after such a fight or Derek for that matter was out of the question. He simply had to ignore them.

Derek was lost. His world had fallen. Without Stiles, there really was not much for him--just an empty hole. No one was there to tell sarcastic jokes, stand by his side--no one was there for Derek to love.. Derek didn't talk to Scott either. It just felt awkward. It hit him too that Stiles wasn't running along around Scott as usual. It hurt. That was the part Derek liked the most with Scott, actually--that Stiles was there with him all the time.

"Look, you have to forgive me sometime.. Otherwise, I'll haunt you down." Derek said jokingly, hiding the inner pain dragging him down slowly.

Yet, again, he had been turned to Stiles' voicemail. Stiles never picked up or answered his texts anymore and frankly, Derek was tired of it.

"Who was that then? Danny asked to break the awkward tension he and Stiles shared.

"Nobody," Stiles replied.

"Okay..." Danny breathed out. "Catch you later, okay? I'll have to go and... practice for the future lacrosse competition," Danny lied and gave a faked smile.

Stiles nodded, knowing Danny lied to him. Perhaps it is for the best? Stiles thought. The next competition was months away, actually...

By the lockers, Stiles leaned. Scott walked by, with his hands in Allison's.

"Hey, Stiles!" Allison greeted kindly.

"Hi," Stiles replied shortly, trying to ignore Scott.

"You can't ignore me forever," Scott said and winked.

He then have a nod to Allison who got the call and walked away, leaving with a questioning look directed to the two boys.

"We used to be best friends..." Scott said in a serious voice.

Stiles did not wish to forgive Scott yet and looked away as if Scott didn't exist. He felt a hand slapping him hard on his cheek.

"What the hell!" Stiles squeaked.

"Oh, so now you're talking?" Scott teased.

"No," Stiles said, determined not to give up in this battle.

It got quiet for a while before finally Stiles decided it was time to give in..

"What you did is not what best friends do to each other!" Stiles suddenly yelled out.

Scott smiled because of the lack of patience Stiles seemed to have to keep quiet.

"Hey!" Stiles looked directly into Scott's eyes. "You don't do that!"

"Do what? Have secrets?" Scott asked and raised one eyebrow.

Stiles immediately thought of his own little secret he had been hiding away from Scott--him and Derek, and everything that has happened between the two..

"Sure. You can have secrets..." he then mumbled. "But not that big!"

"But now you know, right?" Scott looked at Stiles for forgiveness.

"Yeah, but--" Stiles mumbled again.

I promise to tell you everything in the future, okay?" Scott interrupted him.

It took a while but before entering the classroom Stiles answered him.

"Okay." he said. "Also, I need to say something later, okay?"

"Sure," Scott nodded and together they walked into the classroom.

                                                                                *

"So, what was it you were going to say?" Scott asked in the corridor.

Stiles suddenly felt much more insecure. How does it sound, really? I'm in love with killer Derek, the werewolf who almost doesn't have any respect for anyone. he thought.

"Hey!" Scott waved his one hand in front of Stiles to wake him up from his trans.

"I was just going to say that.." Stiles doubted whether to tell it or not. "I'm happy we made up!" he said in the last second and smiled foolishly.

"Me too," Scott smiled back, like the dumb werewolf he was...

                                                                                *

Stiles was on his way home after a long and boring school day. He was although surprised that he did not receive detention for once..

"Get in the car," a familiar voice said.

Stiles looked up and saw none other than Derek staring at him in that normal somewhat creepy way.

"I have my own car, thank you very much!" Stiles hissed and turned.

Suddenly, Derek was in front of him. How does that even work? Stiles thought, happy over the fact that he didn't just die of a heart attack right there..

"Rapist! Help, everyone!" Stiles suddenly yelled out.

Derek covered his mouth with his dirty fingertips.

"It wasn't an option," he threatened.

"Again with the threats? You know they sort of lose meaning when you keep on using them and never actually do any of the things you say you will," Stiles said and raised one eyebrow.

Derek bit his lip.

"Get. In. The. Car," he spelled out.

"No," Stiles replied, trying yet one more time to sneak away from Derek.

He failed once more as again Derek was in front of him. This tactic however that Derek used was not going to work and it was time to use his last minute trick. He hated it and hardly ever used it if ever, but he forced himself to do it. Whatever that would get Stiles back, he was prepared to do.

"I am begging you, Stiles." Derek tried saying in his smoothest voice. "I would never hurt you," he said again.

"You already did," Stiles said and walked to a silent corner of the school where no one would see them.

"Wait," Derek followed him.

Stiles forced himself to listen. He could not be angry anymore. Even though he didn't want to admit it yet, he may even love Derek. It was just all so confusing and it all came too fast for him to react.

"I'm truly sorry if I did anything. I can stop if you want to. I mean, you obviously seem to want me to stop but otherwise, if you changed your mind and if you aren't mad--"

Derek felt his body pushed against the wall and of how Stiles closed his eyes and threw himself at him in a deep passionate kiss.
