Scott ran out and hurried to find Stiles. He felt sweat dripping from his forehead and with every step he took he just wanted to melt down on the ground and die. There was something in his gut wanting to spill itself on the floor, that's for sure. Finally, both their eyes met.
"STILES!" Scott yelled and waved his hands as high as possible.
"Oh, god!" Stiles covered his mouth.
"I have a real bad headache and my mom didn't let me borrow the car..." Scott said, trying to keep his vomit inside his mouth.
"Oh, god!" Stiles repeated once again.
Whilst sitting on a chair not far behind, Derek saw everything. He got up and quickly lead Scott out as everyone around them glared curiously and started to ask questions.
"What's happening? Are you okay?" several people asked.
"Dude, I think he had way too much beer..." another giggled.
Stiles sighed and helped Derek to carry Scott outside.
"What's happening to me?" Scott asked.
Stiles stopped and begun to wonder himself. Suddenly, there was a flashlight over his head.
"Don't tell me you haven't experienced a full moon, yet?" he asked.
Scott cocked his head for no.
"Dammit, Scott!" Stiles sighed again and explained everything he had read about.
Just as Stiles helped Scott get into the car, Jackson walked past with Allison.
"Nice car," he said irritatedly.
Scott couldn't help it but accidentally puked.
"Ouch," Jackson said with a huge grin on his face. "Not so nice anymore..." he then laughed and walked away with Allison who just sighed and squeezed Jackson's hand a bit.
Scott felt so ashamed at this point. He felt the headache beginning to develop into something new. It hurt more this time. It banged inside his body as if something wanted to come out. He began whimpering and shouting. It hurt so damn much.
"STOP SCREAMING!" Stiles panicked.
Scott looked up angrily. He felt the urge to kill Stiles right there and now but just as he felt that so strongly it disappeared completely. It was like magic.
"So this is what it's like to have your period..." he mumbled to himself.
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that," Stiles said and drove off.
On the road a man stood. He blocked the road by standing right in the middle. He was sort of hooded and you couldn't see his face properly. Stiles almost ran over him. He panicked and quickly stopped the car before hitting the man.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" he yelled before he saw that the man actually was Derek... "Oh. It's you..."
Derek sat down in the backseat.
"What's that smell?" Derek asked, trying to wave away the awful smell of pure barf.
"You really, really, really, don't wanna know that..." Stiles said and with that Derek knew exactly what had happened.
"Gross," he expressed. "Drive to my place."
Stiles obeyed and when they were there Scott's eyes had turned golden.
"Cool!" Stiles quipped excitedly.
"Get. Out. Of. My. Face," Scott suddenly changed his tone of voice.
"Wow, what's with the attitude all of a sudden?" Stiles said quietly.
Scott whimpered again in pain as his body struggled not to turn. His growls echoed around the whole forrest.
"Keep it down! Otherwise you'll attract all the other wolves!" Derek sounded worried.
Stiles heard a howl and he turned to Derek.
"That was Scott, right?!" he asked, knowing the answer was no since Scott was in front of him.
Derek raised his left eyebrow.
"Told you so,"
An Alpha moved towards them with its pack following each step.
"We don't want any trouble here," Stiles tried sounding all brave but his face told different.
Derek glanced at the Alpha with both fear and disgust and cocked his head side to side curiously.
"I thought I would find you here," the Alpha said as he grinned.
Stiles laid an eye on the pack members. One of them was Erica; the shy girl who didn't dare to do much at school. The one who Stiles refused to ask to prom. Next to her was a boy named Boyd. He was not that popular either. He had although helped a lot of students to get into the school with the help of his enormous amount of copied keys. He literally had copies of every single key... Last but not least was Isaac. He stood so proudly, grinning evilly just like the rest of them.
There was a rumour going around saying that Isaac's dad was abusing him but the cops never found any bruises on his body. Stiles had heard it from the back of the police car when his father had driven him. Anyways, the newly bitten werewolves looked nothing like how they did before. Their personality was also different. It was like they had gotten a confidence boost, or something like that. Looking back at what had changed with Scott, he didn't need his inhaler for his asthma. Stiles was beginning to sense it matched. Perhaps being a werewolf changed you for the better? Perhaps being a werewolf changed you for the worse? In Scott's case, things were complicated. Some things were good, like the inhaler thing, but all the rage? He scratched his head. Erica growled. Her teeth glowed in the dark.
The alpha looked familiar to Stiles. He could swear on that he had seen him before. There was no time to think but just enough for Stiles to remember who he was. It was the same wolf as in the forest a few months ago! It was the one Derek was related to! The Alpha standing in front of him was the same one that tried killing him that one dark night... Stiles glanced at Derek carefully who was too busy growling and standing tall in comparison to the others.
"You think you can take us?" the Alpha laughed.
"What have I done to you, Peter?" Derek growled.
"You know him?" Scott asked angrily.
"He's my uncle. Peter Hale," Derek admitted.
"That wasn't very nice. Haven't you even introduced your uncle to your friends?" Peter raised one eyebrow.
"To me, you are nothing more than a psychopath!" Derek growled even louder this time.
Peter sighed and stepped forward.
"I just want Scott in my pack," he said.
Derek turned to look at Scott's stunned face.
Peter then clapped his hands and the Beta's ran up quickly to Stiles. Derek tried stopping them but they were way too quick. Stiles was captured and unable to escape. He tried to move but struggled. Erica, once again opened her mouth. She trailed her teeth down Stiles neck carefully and slowly.
"Don't!" Derek shouted.
Stiles was quiet and more frightened than ever. He felt his heart beating faster and faster. Scott plainly stood frozen and thought about how this all was his fault.
