Stiles panicked and ran downstairs, grabbing his car keys on the run. In the kitchen, by the table, his dad sat and read the newspaper in his uniform. He put the newspaper down as he heard Stiles and raised an eyebrow.

"Going somewhere?" he asked.

"No," Stiles lied.

"I can see your keys in your hand,"

"I'm going to Scott's. He really needs some help with his school work, okay?" Stiles lied again.

"Is that really true?" his dad said, knowing it probably wasn't true..

"Yes!" Stiles almost shouted. "I mean, yes." he then lowered his voice. "Gotta go, dad. Study, study!" he faked a laugh and ran out to his jeep.

Stiles came to Derek's place as soon as he could. He ran out and pushed Derek's open up, only to see Derek on the floor. Around him was blood that had been splattered from a wound that still was bleeding on his arm. It seemed to hurt a lot. In Stiles eyes, it almost looked as if there was fire inside on his arm!

Derek called for him.

"Give me the bullet over there!" Derek shouted and pointed with his other arm to the table on the other side of the room.

Stiles quickly got a hold of the bullet and handed it to Derek who pushed it into his skin and shouted in pain as he forced it in the bleeding cut. Stiles, who had purposely closed his eyes, still felt the pain Derek felt and it didn't make him happy..

"Who did this!" he got out.

"You don't want to know," was all Derek said but that didn't satisfy Stiles..

"Answer me." Stiles demanded but Derek became silent and Stiles got worried. "Hey?" he asked again but Derek seemed dead on the floor, not hearing anything in his surrounding.

Stiles bent down on his knees to examine Derek but instead he felt his body pushed down to the floor. Derek held his hands and had pushed him down on his back. The wolf got on top and sexily licked the other's neck, then with his lips he stretched out for the mouth and gave a quick kiss.

"You can kiss me." Stiles assured him as his lips had left Derek's and Stiles smiled warmly. "But wait!" Stiles suddenly said. "You just did this to distract me! Who did this to you?"

Derek didn't know what to say. He thought perhaps it was better that he told the truth..

"It was Allison and Scott, there, you happy?" he breathed out and moved away from Stiles.

Stiles didn't know what to say. Scott, his best friend? Allison, his best friend's girlfriend? This wasn't suppose to happen! Stiles thought. Why would Scott do something like this? Allison didn't know about Derek being a werewolf, unless Scott had told her. He must have! There was no secret that she and her family had been killing wolves since the dawning of time. The Argent's had been slaughtering wolves for eternity, that Derek had told Stiles just as he found out wolves existed.. But then again, why would Scott then tell her? Why would he risk his own life? 'Cause that's what he was doing, if he didn't know, which he may not since he's stupid! Sometimes... Also, why would he have anything against Derek? From what Derek had been saying, all he had been doing was helping Scott through his problems that he had as he had turned.. It's not like Scott would like the Argent's to know his own big secret...certainly not his girlfriend..

"I gotta go," Stiles said after realizing he had been quiet for too long..

"Don't go there!" Derek yelled as Stiles rushed out to his car.

It begun to rain as Stiles pulled out his car key. He got inside of his jeep and ignored Derek's voice in the background.

Finally, Stiles arrived and got out of the car. He knocked impatiently on the door and it did actually take a while for the Scott household to open as Scott and his mom weren't exactly used to opening the door at all... Normally, Stiles would just slip in through the window.

"This can't be good," Stiles heard Scott's voice behind the locked door.

As the door shut open, Stiles invited himself in. He took off his jacket and hung it up with his shoes under tucked and put nicely.

In a haste, the two ran upstairs to Scott's room. Stiles sat down on Scott's undone bed. You could almost tate the awkwardness and tension in the room as Stiles sat quiet for several minutes before finally Scott decided it would be best if he tried to break the silence.

"What's up?" he asked and then shut the door carefully.

"What's up?" Stiles outburst.

Scott sat down by his computer and stayed quiet for a while. He looked over to Stiles again innocently, hoping Stiles didn't know--that this was something else.

"Derek!" Stiles yelled.

Scott panicked. He begun sweating and tried dry off some dripping down his neck. What he going to tell Stiles, either way? There was no explanation for this. There was no excuse that would satisfy Stiles, at least.. He took a deep breath.

"Allison--" he got interrupted.

"Oh! You're gonna blame it on her now?!"

"No, but.." he got interrupted again.

"But?"

"Let me talk!" Scott shouted back to Stiles face with a wolf-like voice and in an instant Stiles backed up.

"Okay," Stiles said in a shaky voice.

"Allison and I were walking outside and Derek came from no where. He had turned.. He was angry and couldn't control himself... Really, what was I supposed to do? I had to protect her. She was about to call her family, alright?" Scott tried explaining.

"So, it's perfectly okay for you then to hurt him like that? How wasn't I informed of this until Derek begged me for help? Why didn't you say anything before he did? I thought we were going to be honest from now on?" Stiles argued.

"What's going on?" Allison walked into the room. "Your mom let me in," she then said, looking at Scott.

Stiles looked up.

"Um, hey, Allison.." he mumbled.

"You've got three visitors!" Scott's mom called from downstairs.

"He noticed!" Stiles called back with the same jolly pitch and voice.

"Wait, three?" Scott looked confused.

He turned to Allison questioning who faked a smile and moved aside. Behind her stood her dad and beside him stood a woman Stiles wished he didn't remember--the woman who shot Derek in the woods.

"This is my aunt Kate," Allison introuced and the woman stepped forward.

"What adorable brown eyes," she said and really took a firm look at Scott's shimmering, innocent eyes.

"Thanks?" Scott said with an insecure tone.

Stiles just wanted to punch the lady out right there and now. Mentally, he was currently swinging an axe into her head.

"This is then, obviously, Scott?" Kate smiled.

"Yes," Allison replied as her dad watched him carefully.

"And this is a friend of yours--Scott--correct?" Kate then asked and walked over to Stiles.

Her expression on her face changed and for a couple of seconds she was completely still. Then, when she had realized who she was in front of, she smiled again.

"He's Stiles," Allison said.
