Infectious Friendship (L: Change The World! L x Child! Reader)

___ walked up to L.

"L, I am bored. Can I help you?" She asked.

L thought for a bit.

"... Okay, but please don't touch my laptop." He said; she agreed.

They spent a couple hours reviewing files. Suddenly, ___'s stomach growled. Noticing this, L got up and left. When returning to his seat, he brought 2 slices of strawberry shortcake with him.

L handed ___ a slice of cake. "Here you go." He said.

"Arigatou." ___ said. L just smirked, and continued working. ___ ate the cake slightly sloppy. She had some on her face.

L took notice to this, and picked up a napkin. He began to wipe the cake from her mouth. She giggled, and L smiled. After that, they continued to work. L was a bit distracted, though.

L's Point Of View

This girl is strange. She is exactly like me, and she barely shows emotion. However, this doesn't make her any less adorable. Her giggle is like music to my ears, and she is very smart. Her parents have died. I should take both her and the boy to Wammy's House before I die. Now, I should really get back to work.
(If this is out of character, I apologize. I mean, WHO KNOWS WHAT L IS THINKING? In this movie he does not have revealed thoughts.)

3rd Person Point Of View

___ liked helping L. She enjoyed solving mysteries, and had a strong sense of justice. Suddenly, L received a call from an unknown person.

They talked for a bit. Then a girl came in. She was around 12 years old. Her hair was short; about chin-length. She was wearing a navy blue school uniform. She was also carrying a messenger bag and a teddy bear, and she was crying.

"Hello. Is something bothering you?" ___ said monotonously. The girl didn't respond, but she gave a slight nod. "Please take a seat over there." L said, gesturing to a table and chair. The girl did as she was told.

The girl continued to cry, and L looked back at her. The boy walked up to her, and started to cry as well. Then, both L and ___ looked back at the children. They both felt sympathy, but didn't show it.

L asked the girl some questions. They found out that the girl's name is Maki, and that her father died; the cause of death being the virus.
