(This whole chapter will be in L's Point Of View)

Mr. Suruga and I were driving to the nearest airport. On the way there, I told him where they were going.

"America?"

"Yes," I responded.

We started to drive on the runway. The authorities were called, but it was the only way we could get to the plane.

I jumped out of the crepe truck, carrying the antidote with me. There was enough for everybody on the plane.

I climbed up the stairs to board the plane, but they had been detached. I had to jump onto the plane. I struggled to get inside, but I eventually did it.

What I saw when I boarded the plane was terrifying; everybody had been infected. They were dying. EVERYONE had been infected; except for ___. Thank God, she was okay.

K started talking about murder.

"No. You can justify it any way you want but murder is evil," I said.

___ smiled when she saw me. I smiled back, but stayed serious the rest of the time.

"Give everyone an injection," I said to a flight attendant.

Suddenly, a woman with a knife tried to stab ___. I threw something at her hand, and she dropped the knife.

___ quickly ran past K, and hid behind me.

'I won't let anyone hurt ___'

K began to speak.

"Earth is in danger because of a severe overpopulation problem! You have to see this plan through to the end!"

"You don't have the right to end someone's live. Humanity has the power to change their future. Nobody has the right to take another person's life away; not me, and not you," I replied.

"I made a contract with a shinigami. In two days, I'll die," I said.

"A shinigami?"

I nodded, and injected K with the antidote.

I ran to the cockpit and tried to stop the plane. It crashed into a building, but at least it stopped.

Maki, ___, and I exited the plane. ___ immediately hugged me; quite tightly, I might add. I hugged back.

Both ___ and the boy looked up at me and smiled.

"Well, I still have 2 days..."

"It's been an honour working under the command of the legendary L," Mr. Suruga said.

"I don't think I was in command..."

"Mr. Suruga, I am grateful for all you have done. Thank you very much," I added.

He simply nodded, and walked away.

Maki went to the hospital, as well as everyone else who had been infected.

My time is almost up...
