Infectious Friendship (L: Change The World! L x Child! Reader)

After several hours, the children found a telephone. The boy did not know how to use a telephone, but a kind woman helped him. He said "F1225" just as the man told him to. ___ knew it was a code. She found out that the man's name was "F".

A helicopter came to pick the children up. They had blood tests preformed on them on the way to this "Watari" person.

Soon they arrived. They had MORE tests done on them. ___ knew that it was to find out why the virus had not effected them.

The last one was painful, so the boy came out crying. ___ however, came out with an unreadable expression.

The boy had been clutching on to the arm of a man in his mid 20's. The man had short but messy, raven coloured hair. He also wore a baggy white shirt, blue jeans, and had bags under his eyes. This gave off the impression that he did not care about his appearance and suffered from sleep deprivation.

"Who might you be?" ___ calmly questioned.

"I am L." the man said.

"Oh." ___ said. She then proceeded to crouch in the corner and think. She had many traits that L also shared. They both were distantly cold, stoic, and their posture was the same.

The boy ran around the room, and L followed. ___ followed, as well.

The boy came to a room with a single green chair, and sweets along with decorations on the windowsill. He sat in the corner, obviously scared.

"This room was exclusively for Watari, and uh..." L trails off.

"May I take a look?" L asks the boy while gesturing to the pendant that the boy had; sweet in hand. ___ stares hungrily at the sweet. She had not eaten in a day, and she loved sweets.

The boy was reluctant to give the pendant to him. "This is my first time babysitting, and so far I'm not doing a very good job." L says while consuming the sweet.

The boy runs out of the room; ___ and L following behind him.

He tries to reach for a bag of tortilla chips; L eventually had to help him. The boy sat on the floor while hastily opening the bag of chips, eating them very fast. L cleans off the boy's mouth and then receives the pendant.

He notices ___ looking at the sweets on his computer desk. He walks over to the computer desk, and picks up a lollipop.

"Would you like one?" He asks her. "Yes. Thank you." ___ says with no emotion. L nods, and proceeds to open the pendant. It contained an SD card. L then proceeded to put it in his MacBook. It displayed a message from F.

After watching the message, he walked over to a bookshelf, and read a book about viruses. He thought for a while, then put the book back.

Looks like L has another case to work on.
