CHAPTER 18

June's POV:

I feel very lite now it's like a load of weight has been lifted off from my shoulders and the pain in my heart was reduced making me happy. When I hugged Sky I got a feeling that I hugged my mother, I feel safe in her arms. I gave a peck to the kindhearted women in front of me on her cheek.

"Thank you so much, Aunt." I thanked her and her eyes widened a bit.

"I'm not that old okay, just call me Sky." She instructed me just like the old days and which made Blake cough.

"You must be Shannu." She directed her face towards Shannu and she gave a bear hug to her.

"It's so pleasuring to meet you Mrs. Hu.., Sorry Sky." Shannu corrected herself and Sky laughed at her.

"No kissing allowed in my house." Sky shouted at Annie and Kenneth who are kissing hard as their lives depend on the kiss. When they heard the voice, they straightened themselves and joined us like innocent puppies.
Kenneth's hair was messed up and it looked like he just rolled out of his bed.

"Sorry, Madam. By the way, I'm Kenneth."Kenneth extended his hand towards Sky.

"Annie must have fallen for your handsomeness." Sky complimented while shaking her hand with Kenneth. 

"Finally it's so pleasuring to meet a beautiful lady like you." Troy took the hand of Sky into his hands and kissed it like a gentleman.

"Woah!What a gentleman you are." Sky stated and Troy face turned into a shade of red.

       When all the introductions were completed all the boys went to the game room. Shannu and Annie are discussing the girl stuff in the hall.

"Hmm, sky? Can I help you in the kitchen?" I asked Sky and she didn't look pleased with my question.

"You?really?" She questioned doubtfully.

"I'm not going to burn your house like my mother," I promised Sky and she took a deep breath in relief.

"How is your father?" Sky asked me while cutting vegetables.

"Fine, he was quite busy these days," I replied by hiding the pain in my voice.

"He loves your mother more than anything. When your mother died I suggested him remarry but he never listened to me. Those days are really hard for him but he buried his pain deep down inside him and became a wonderful father and mother to you." She said with her eyes filled with tears and her nose turned into red.

"Yeah, I still remembered, it was so hard for him to get over her and to look after me at the same time," I informed and hand over the tissue to her.

"Sky? where is uncle Vincent and Dolly?" I asked Sky and she dropped the bowl she was holding, it got crashed making a loud noise. Fear became evident all over her face, her eyes were full of sadness and made me punch myself for asking a stupid question. she gritted the side of the table I was sitting tightly and took deep breaths but still, her hands didn't stop shaking.

"Sky are you okay?"I supported her with my hand to make her sit down in the chair.

" Drink this."I handed her a glass of water. After drinking a whole glass of water she closed her eyes for a movement.

"Sorry sky, I didn't mean to," I said and a tear roll down on my cheek.
"Oh sweety, it wasn't you, it was my weakness. I'm getting old Ju so don't blame yourself. And the answer to your question is they are not with us. Vincent didn't like here and he always wants to expand his business in other countries. So, he asked us to move with him but we refused to leave this place. We tried to convince him that he can do his business here but he never listened. He loves money and power more than his family. He moved away with Dolly several years ago and never came back." Sky explained with a breaking voice.  By looking at her we can say how much she was missing her daughter.
