CHAPTER 23

June's POV:

                     Time in New York is running super fast without even stopping for a second to breathe, the last two days were filled with boring meetings and conferences by the most famous business persons in New York. Actually, it was a great lecture about their struggles and the future of our business lives but Blake and I pay most of the attention to each other by peeking glances for every few seconds. Thank god those meetings are finally over and today we are all going to Niagara Falls to chill out. The sound of water running reached my ears and I left a heavy sigh while cuddling hard with my teddy bear which was a gift from my mom when I was little. 

I already told about that? Okay forget about it

"I know you are going to sleep again. If you don't get your lazy ass down now, I will definitely chop your head off." Lyn shouted from the bathroom.

"I'm up. I'm up."I screamed back with a glint of fear in my voice.

Sometimes this lady can be so scary

After getting ready for about an hour, Lyn and I went to meet Shannon in her room. 

Knock knock knock

"Open the damn door girl." I cursed under my breath impatiently.

"You can't even wait for a whole two seconds." Lyn countered and I kept my tongue out at her.

"Hey, girls."Annie greeted both of us and hugged really tight.

"Hi" I returned the hug with a smile.

"Where is Shannon?" Lyn asked taking a seat on their bed.

"I am here," Shannon replied and entered from the bathroom while covering her wet body with a towel.

"You better hurry or else that demon will definitely drag us out of this room," I warned her and got comfortable beside Lyn.

"Did you guys pack bikinis? because we need to blow the heads of some hot boys." Annie smirked and we both nodded our heads while giggling.

"I bet Ken can't hold his hands from your body." I teased Annie who stood with blushed cheeks.

"Really? then what about Blake? He  definitely can't hold his dick any longer when he sees your wicked ass." Annie smirked for making me blush and Lyn beside me got tensed.

"Anyway, what are you giving for his birthday?"Lyn asked and I caught a glimpse of jealous in her voice but I ignored it.

"I don't know. I don't have any fucking idea, you guys need to help me figure out." I whined.

"You know it's tomorrow right?"Lyn questioned me and I nodded my head.

"He doesn't like celebrating birthdays but David and Steven are throwing a party tomorrow night. so, you have enough time to buy a gift," Annie informed us.

"Aren't we supposed to go tomorrow?" I asked confused.

"Nope, I don't know how they convinced our principal but they convinced him enough to stay here for another day."She informed us.

"You know about that?" I directed my question to Lyn and got a response of 'yes' with her silence.

"But you didn't even tell me about it. How sweet of you." I said sarcastically.
I can never forget his birthday in my entire life and I'm thinking of a gift from a while now which I didn't figure out till this day.

I turned my attention to Shannon who is thinking deep without paying any attention to our conversation.

"Hey, are you okay?"I went to her and took her face in between my hands.
"Oh my god, Shannu!! what happened?"She looks kind of pale and ready to burst into tears at any time. Annie and Lyn both are quick to their feet and ran to us.
