CHAPTER 22

Blake's POV:

       
                      "So you are telling me that there is someone who is following June where ever she went huh? And you have no idea who is that mystery person is?" My friend Luke questioned me and I narrowed my eyes at him.

Luke is one of my old friends in New York but that doesn't mean he can question me and order me around. He worked for my father for a while and didn't like him at all that makes the two of us become friends. He was quite intelligent and have connections across New York which were the reason to contact him.

"I'm not telling you. I'm informing you about the situation." I stated. Luke nodded his head slowly while playing with his phone nervously.

"Sorry boss." He muttered under his breath.

That nickname makes me stiff and turned my knuckles white. 'Boss' that bloody word reminds me of my terrible past and the pain I have gone through day and night. No one knows the reason why I have killed June's mother and how I'm being tortured through nightmares from that day. Who thinks that a nine years boy can take a life?. My childhood was not at all filled with sweet memories of my family. It was completely dark without a light of happiness.

Every time I look into the eyes of June I can see the pain and how broken she was because of me. I had been dying with guilt every day. So, I decided to tell her about the darkest secret of my life. It's just a matter of time for her to forgive me or to leave me alone in the hell and I hope for the best.

"Don't call me that. Let's focus on the matter." I said more like a yell.

His face started turning red with anger which indicated that he was suspecting my beloved father.

"I'm thinking about the same person. But.." I stopped with a heavy sigh.

"But the question is what he wants from June and why he was following her?" Luke filled for me. When he got clarity that I have no answers for his questions . he began thinking in his own way holding a serious expression.

"I'm not sure about anything. It can be anyone from my college. June got a lot of enemies especially girls." I smiled at that memory.  I never saw a girl as feisty as her. If she doesn't like a person then she can make their life hell by becoming a pain in their ass.

"College mates huh? Then they can get their revenge through some pranks and with other bullshit, right? No need to stalk her all the time and didn't cause any harm." He said firmly. I didn't dare to interrupt him while he was explaining everything in a flow.

"You are right, it's just that I'm hoping..... forget it. One more thing is that its a red color BMW and there is a dragon symbol on the front." I informed him. Luke took note of the details.

"I took a look at the pictures you have sent a few days back and tried to hack the people identify you have given, but it was no use. It was a nontraceable number and the person who was using it may or may not be related to your college." His information raised even more questions.
