Elena's pov:
The Salvatore Boarding House

"Matt what are you doing here?" I say confused and I shoot Damon a look.
"Busboy here is going to play babysitter for a few hours while I go look for something." Damon says as he kisses my forehead and walks out the door.
"I don't need a babysitter Damon! I'm perfectly fine by myself!" I say as his car pulls out of the driveway.
"Well Miss I got bit by a werwolf and I didn't tell anyone for 4 days, what would you like to do today?" Matt says sternly.
"Oh how funny" I say rolling my eyes
"Damon called Klaus earlier and he's heading over to his house to go get the blood we need to heal you. So I'm here playing babysitter so we can make sure you don't get any worse." Matt says as he sits down on the sofa.
"I can assure you Matt I'm perfectly fine!" I say as I walk into the kitchen to get a blood bag and a glass of water for Matt.

"Well elena I can see that but since I can't see your werewolf bite I we can't be 100% sure." Matt says accepting the glass of water.
"You want to see it? You really want to see it? Fine." I say as I pull my cardigan off.
I took off my daylight ring and the werewolf bite began to reveal itself.
It started from my wrist and ran up my arm. It had started to expand onto my neck. It almost reached my face but it hadn't gotten there yet.
"ELENA THAT IS BAD! THAT IS VERY VERY BAD! IVE NEVER SEEN A WEREWOLF BITE IN PERSON BUT THAT LOOKS LIKE YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!" Matt stuttered.
"It doesn't hurt that bad Matt." I added.
"Elena stop saying that because I know it hurts like hell because HAVE YOU SEEN YOUR BODY!?!" Matt snapped.

Damon comes flashing in the house with a bottle of something in a hurry.
He comes over to me and sets me down on the couch and forces me to drink from the glass. Instantly my werewolf bite vanishes into thin air and I don't feel the pain anymore.
"Thank you for watching her Matt. She was probably a handful." Damon smirked.
"I was good wasn't I Matt?"
"Well I mean we both are still alive right?" Matt laughed.
Matt got a phone call and stepped outside.
"Elena next time you get a werewolf bite you better tell me because if not you will regret it much more than you did this time." Damon said as he pulled me into a tight hug.
"I love you, Damon."
"I love you too"
Matt walked back in the house and said he had to go meet Rebekah at the Grill so he gave me a tight hug then left.

"Elena you better not do that again." Damon says as he kisses my forehead.
I lean my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around me. "I didn't want you to worry, Damon. I just wanted us to have the best time before I went off to college and I didn't want anything to get in the way of that." I say looking up at him.
"I know I know but little bon bon should have told someone and she shouldn't have risked your life just so you could have the best time before college. Being alive is much better than being dead." Damon said as he pulled me closer to him.
"That didn't really make sense since we already are dead but you understood what I was trying to say right?"
Damon added as he kissed me from my forehead down to my lips.

Two hours later
I wake up on Damon's chest with my head nuzzled in the crook of his neck. I tried to get up so he could sleep longer but as soon as I moved and sat myself up Damon put his arms around me and pulled me back down onto the couch.
Damon smirked as I struggled to get out of his firm grasp. Eventually, after what seemed like an hour of trying, I finally got out and was able to sit up again. "Baby, five more minutes please?" Damon begged.
"No Damon we have to make dinner. I don't know about you but I would like to eat sometime soon"
I went to walk away but I felt a light pressure on my hand and I spun around to face my astonishing boyfriend. "Why would you not want to lay on the couch with your boyfriend while you watch Netflix?" Damon says as he whispers in my ear. He could tell I was leaning towards staying but I knew that if I did we probably would never eat.
"Damon, come on please let me start dinner or else you will have to order pizza!" I say as I squirm in his arms.
"Not so fast."
"Damon let go of me before I snap your neck again." I say with a stern tone.
"My gosh where did the fun Elena go? I want her back." Damon said as he smirked at me then let me go.
