You and Carl have been dating since before the apocalypse broke out. He was your bestfriend, your world, your everything. You guys had now been dating for a little over five years. Nobody said you would last, because, well you were ten when he admitted he had a crush on you. You guys had known each other really well, your families were the best of friends. It was bound to happen really. He told you he liked you and you told him the same. He asked you to be his girlfriend and you said yes. Now he was sixteen and you were fifteen and a half. The age gap was something nobody cared about. It's the apocalypse, they have walkers and survival to think of.

You two were out alone on a run together. Rick was against it, seeing as he was your boyfriend, but Michonne held your case. Saying that you were both responsible enough not to go being so immature. She said that it would put you at risk anyway. So he a agreed to let you go.
"Y/N?" He said as you were pulling a screw driver out of a decayed walkers eye. So romantic. You thought to yourself.
"Yeah?" You ask him.
"Do...do-" he sighs and you turn to face him. "Do you ever think about marriage. I mean, I know we're only teenagers but we've been together longer then most dating adults ever did and, you know, it's not like the authorities are going to come knocking telling us it's illegal now, is it?" You smile. In truthfulness, you had thought about it. A lot.
"To be honest...I have." You blush. "Also, if I'm going to die a teenager...I'd want to die married to the boy I love."
"Really?" He beams. You walk closer to him, kissing him on the cheek.
"Really." He pulls a ring out of the pocket of his jeans and gets down on one knee. You gasp.
"Y/N..." He starts. "Will you marry me?"
"Yes!" You exclaim. He slides the ring on your finger and leans in to kiss you.
