maya: well before my parents got divorced, we were really close. she moved us to, yk where the beach was until i met you guys. she died only a few months before that. my dad and i kinda grew apart during that time. my mom told him i didn't want to speak with him, at all. but now he knows that's a lie

raven: my mom was kinda the same way. except i don't have a dad to go back to.

clarke: i really wish you weren't going. your mom is practically abusive
