Lincoln and Octavia

december twenty-third
aka christmas eve-eve

After Lincoln announced that he was going to Africa, he immediately drove to the Blake's house first. Knowing how impatient Octavia is when it comes to presents, and how upset she was going to be because he didn't tell her sooner.

She must've saw his car pull up, because before he was even out, Octavia was standing at the door.

He shook his head as he carried the box in his pocket. He stood a foot in front of her. "You're going to catch a cold."

She shrugged, although her nose and cheeks were pink. "I don't care."

Smirking, Lincoln pulled off his own hat and placed it on Octavia's head. She glared at him. "Now you're gonna get sick."

He shrugged, "who cares?"

"Why didn't you tell me you were going to Africa?" she asked, a slight attitude in her voice.

"Truthfully, because I was going there to pick up a ring."

"A-a what?"

He smiled, pulled out the small box from his pocket, and handed it to her. She gave him a questioning look before she opened it. Her jaw practically hit the ground when she saw what it was.

Lincoln had gotten a custom made necklace, with both of their birthstones and initials. "Wow, Lincoln. This is beautiful."

"Those stones are real, too."

She looked up at him, and hugged him. "I'm sorry for being a bitch. I love you."

"I love you too."

Harper and Monty

christmas day

Monty had wanted to work for NASA for a while. Harper knew it was his dream, but she also knew that it would mean he would never be around anymore. Which is why it was so difficult for her to get him these tickets.

NASA was holding a meeting, type, thing, where they would have the contestants fix the miniature rocket.

She knew he would win, but she put his own happiness above hers and gave him the ticket anyways.

She put it on his dresser before he took her out for dinner. When they returned, she pretended she needed to go to the bathroom so he could find it.

When she came out, he was standing right in front of the door, and didn't give her time to react when he pulled her into a kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too."

Raven and Murphy

Raven stirred in Murphy's arms, causing him to grin at the sight of his naked girlfriend. He glanced at the race car ticket on his bedside stand, and shook her awake. "What?" she grumbled. "Five more minutes, hobo."

"It's Christmas," he said into her ear. She immediately perked up, forgetting that she was naked and letting the blanket fall off of her. She screamed causing Murphy to break out into hysterical laughter.

"Why did you wake me up?" she asked, trying to look tough. It would've fooled him if it wasn't for her burning face.

"Remember those race tracks you said you always wanted to go to?"

"Yeah. But each ticket was like two thousand dollars and-no you didn't."

"Yes I did."

She pouted. "My gift is gonna suck compared to what you got me."

He leaned forward to kiss her, "you keeping giving me gifts like last night and I'll have to disagree."

She shoved him away. "I can't believe you just said that on Christmas."

"Sorry Jesus."

She laughed.

Bellamy and Clarke

christmas eve

Clarke made sure Raven had left their house before she did. She didn't want Raven to have to deal with her psychotic mother. After she did, Clarke ran over to the Blake's, ready to warm up in Bellamy's arms. Just her luck, the heating in her house decided to stop working.

Once she arrived, and about an hour of complaining that the heating stopped working, they sat cuddled up in front of the fire place, hot chocolates in hand and a christmas themed episode of Friends playing in the background.

Clarke groaned, and Bellamy's head snapped in her direction. "What?"

"I forgot your present at my house."

He rolled his eyes, his heart speeding up in his chest. "That's fine. I don't need it right now."

She gave him a pointed look, but complied, and leaned back into his arms.

christmas day

When Clarke awoke, she wasn't in Bellamy's arms like she was last night. That's why she was so cold, she tightened the blankets around her and turned to the other side of the bed. Where is he? She asked herself, but the question was answered when she saw a ring box on the bedside table.

She sprang out of bed. "Bellamy?" she called. She didn't want to open it, what if he wanted her there for it? There was no way it was a proposal though. They both agreed to wait until they were out of college.

Bellamy walked into his room, a smile on his face. "Yes, princess?"

She pointed to the ring box, with her eyes closed. "I didn't know if you wanted me to open it so-" she nearly screamed at the cold of the medal. She opened her eyes and the ring was now on her finger. "What is it?"

"A ring."

She playfully rolled her eyes. "Obviously."

"It's a promise ring," she met his eyes. "And you know I suck at speeches so bear with me," he sucked in a breath. "I promise to always stand by your side. To fight with you if the world is fighting against us. I promise to love you until my last living breath. I promise, even if I fuck up, which we both know I will, that no matter what the cause was, it was only because I was trying to help. I promise I won't ever drop an egg shell in a cake ever again, so we can win the next baking competition. I promise to always pick you up when you're down." Clarke hated crying, so instead of letting him see her cry, she stood up on her toes, and met his lips, cutting him off from the rest of his speech.

"I am so in love with you," she muttered. "And I'll probably fuck up too, so," he laughed, and pulled her in for another kiss. "We're in this together."

Maya and Jasper

Maya groaned as she heard her alarm clock go off. She shot up in her bed. "I didn't set an alarm clock," she muttered.

Jasper was sitting on the chair in her room. He smiled once he saw she was awake. He walked over and kissed her. "Oh god," he laughed. "Your morning breath is terrible."

Maya swatted him with a pillow. "Way to ruin the moment, jackass."

Miller and (you'll see)

Since Miller was going to Vegas to see his dad, his Christmas Eve was spent packing his bags. He closed up the suitcase, checking in his head that he had everything.

The doorbell rung. It couldn't be his mother, she was hardly ever home, and she had a key.

He grabbed a frying pan, just in case, Tangled had taught him that they were good for defending yourself. He swung the door open, and Finn stood there.

His boyfriend raised an eyebrow at the frying pan. "Really?"

"What?" Miller protested. "You know Tangled is my favorite movie!" Finn rolled his eyes. "Why are you here? Not that I'm complaining."

Finn smirked, and Miller's heart raced in his chest.

This was going to be the best Christmas ever.
