Gaara's Little Sister?!

Chapter 28- Missions! Airi is back baby!

Its been about a week since I got situated here in Konoha, I think Lady Tsuande likes me though......

"HEY TSUNADE! DO YA REMEMBER AIRI!?" Naruto yelled outside of the hokage bulding. I was failing at keeping in my laughter. He never fails to amuse me.  Kotestu and izumo were holding him back....again. "Pssssst airi! Hurry and go in while their distracted!" He whispered looking around with squinty eyes. I rolled my eyes and nodded, heading up the stairs into the hokage building. I heard a poof and he came running in, fixing his head band alittle.

" Substitution." He said acting cool right before falling onto the ground. I helped him up while running still, so he was getting up while being dragged, it was really hilarious!

" Im sorry I couldnt get sasuke back for ya Naruto." He waved his hand.

"Dont sweat it! You tried! Thats what counts! We'll get him back."
"And when we do he owes me a big fat apology!" Naruto laughed, knowing the basics of the story, which was pretty much he left. Sasuke is still my friend he didnt break any bonds at all, the love I had for him was nearly a great friendship. HAHA and you all were thinking I was romantically interested in him! Im thirteen i dont need to worry about those things at all!

We opened the door to see a pile of papers and tsunade looking as grim as ever. Haha, sucks for you!

" Hey!!! Grandma Tsunade! Looky who we have back!"  She looked up annoyed at naruto than at me.

" Im guessing you failed the mission huh?" I nodded. "Did he find out?"

"Nope! I think he just wanted to get rid of a bond like he did to Naruto and Sakura, get rid of a friendship, so that he can focus on killing his big bro." She frowned but then smiled.

"Well atleast you made it back alive on your first solo mission, thats somewhat of a plus." I nodded.

"Barely alive. Almost died finding this place! Which reminds me, can you heal me up real quick so I get get back to doing missions in Sunagakure?" She nodded and healed ym cuts and bruises with chakra.

"You wont be going back to Suna though." She took my headband from my head and replaced it with a new one. Mine was covered in scratches, you could barely see the Sand symbol.

"Hey! Why are ya givin her another one!?" Naruto asked loudly. 

"Shutup you idiot!" Tsunade snapped back. She personally tied the headband around my head and smiled. Naruto ran beside me to see and gasped with wide eyes. His mouth forming the biggest grin in the world.

"Really Grandma?! She really is one now!!" I walked to a picture frame and tried to see my reflection. I finally caught a glimps of a swirly leaf like figure on the headband.

"Congratulations Airi, your officially a leaf genin now. So you belong to this village." I grinned a big, toothy, naruto grin. And ran to her. What shocked shizune, (who was in the room) naruto and Grandma Tsunade was what I did next. I hugged her as hard as I could.

"THANKS GRANDMA TSUNADE!" I shouted happily. Naruto grinned at the name and she growled.
