I didn't attend Minerva's class however everyone was talking about the information they found out about The Chamber of Secrets. The monster part was freaking me out. I put it out of my mind for now knowing I would have to figure it all out soon.
The Quidditch match between Gryffindor and Slytherin was fast approaching as the weeks flew by. I was calmly studying in the library again determined to make another spell but I didn't know what I wanted to achieve. My mind drifted back as the library started emptying for the Gryffindor - Slytherin match that was beginning in ten minutes. I was rifling through my notes searching for the right combination of words when I realised that all the extra notes I needed were in the Room of Requirement. I knew it would be wrong but I thought they'd be safer in my quarters than anywhere else. I knew that I would probably have to minimise everything first just so I could get it down to the dungeons. And I wonder if I could manage to do an Undetectable Extension Charm on my room; no-one needed to know.
I hurriedly packed up my books putting them in my bag - intent on doing this as soon as possible. I raced up to the seventh floor corridor before walking past the wall three times. I got inside to say "Diminuendo" over and over again making everything much smaller so I could carry it all. I gathered as many jottings and books as possible and carefully placed them into my bag trying not to tear anything as some of the pages were very old. I finally finished minimising it all. It took a lot longer than I thought it would. I opened the door back into the corridor before murmuring "Gravitas Penna" and with a sweep of my wand, they were all now feather light in weight - easier to carry.
"Wingardium Leviosa" I pronounced, making sure I did it all correctly. I walked out followed by everything I wanted. The corridors were silent and empty, oh damn I forgot about the match in my excitement.
However it was nice and quiet inside the castle for the time-being. I carelessly strolled down to the dungeons making sure I still had everything with me before lowering it all onto the floor outside my quarters. I knew I would have to make an alteration to the Undetectable Extension Charm as it was normally only used on containers and bags. A container could refer to a room but I didn't want to take that chance, I was playing it safe. I decided on the phrasing before drawing my wand and pointing it at the wall in front of me. "Spatium Imreperio Seomra" A burst of silver hit the wall but I knew the changes were happening on the inside. I counted to ten at a steady pace before pulling my wand back to disconnect the spell.
I walked forward and opened my door to reveal a room which was now twice it's original size. I moved everything in and did another Undetectable Extension Charm on my bedroom to fit the feather down bed in. I knew I would use Avexi Avectum - the Obliteration Spell to destroy my old bed permanently.

I was really worried. Rose hadn't shown up for the match and someone was going around petrifying cats. I obviously waited through the whole match telling myself she would be here in a few minutes and so on. When the match finished, Gryffindor had won. Lucius was watching me rather closely after Draco flew off of his broom, bored and annoyed at the outcome. Harry got the snitch right after and nearly got smashed by a rogue bludger."Severus...hello. Are you even listening?" Lucius wondered. "Yes I'm listening. What's wrong, Lucius?" I automatically responded. "Your mind is wandering. I need a drink after that match!" I nodded, leading him back to my quarters totally forgetting I have no alcohol.
"Damn it!" I muttered, annoyed that I forgot to get some more. "What?" Lucius questioned. "I have nothing in my quarters. Rose stole the last of it." I honestly said.
"Rose?" Lucius implied. I ignored him and went to knock on her door, not realising Lucius was behind me. Rose opened the door dressed in sweats or more precisely - a vest top and tracksuit bottoms. "Yes Severus? What's up?" She bemusedly asked. "Hello I'm Lucius" A voice interrupted me from behind. A hand shot forward and took Rose's hand and kissed it.
"My friend and I were looking forward to a drink in his quarters but you apparently stole the last of it. Do you have any left?" I waited for her answer. "I got rid of it all!" My face dropped. She had gotten rid of all the Firewhiskey. I didn't notice when Rose had cracked up laughing until she patted me on the cheek. Her laughter died down.
"You two are so gullible! Of course I didn't get rid of it, you do know how much that stuff costs - right? Give me a minute and I'll bring it to you!" She muttered, shutting the door in our faces. I walked into my quarters - sitting down on the sofa while Lucius took the armchair. "She's nice. Is she going out with someone?" He asked. I shook my head - no. "I see. So she has a sense of humour and is only down the corridor." He murmured, hinting to me. I ignored his not so subtle comment. A gentle rap sounded on the door before opening to show Rose empty-handed but as soon as she moved from the doorway two crates floated in. They settled on the carpet next to the table. Rose was about to shut the door when Lucius interrupted "Rose, have a drink with us!" She looked at me checking to see if I was ok with it. I nodded.
She shut the door and took the only seat available - the sofa with me. Lucius winked at me slyly. "So how much Firewhiskey did you bring?" Lucius eyed the crates. "Only 18 bottles of the stuff. Do you need more? I still have another three crates left." We both looked at her shocked. "How did you get that much?" I curiously asked. "It's a secret." Rose announced.

They pulled out a bottle before Severus conjured up three glasses in mid-air. I knew this was a bad idea, I mean I had never even touched Firewhiskey before. I didn't even understand how I managed to get over six bottles of the stuff from someone I don't know. A Madam Rosmerta or something. I watched as they both downed their shots. I wasn't going to drink it! "Rose, why haven't you had your shot?" Severus wondered."I've never tried Firewhiskey before!" I honestly told them. Lucius grinned at Severus then turned to me. "Well, now's a good time to start." He stated. Lucius grabbed the remaining full glass and came and placed it in my hand. I knocked it back knowing I wouldn't get out of drinking it. The fiery mixture caused me to cough ever so slightly. A clap resounded as Severus patted me on the back. Lucius quickly refilled the glasses.
I didn't even know how many we were up to now. My head had started to pound and I needed to lie down. I slipped my head onto Severus' lap giving me a nice, comfy position. I was so far gone after only ten bottles that I didn't take in the fact Lucius had stood up - swaying a little. He swam into my view and slurred or in my mind slurred "I'ma gona go homie now! Narcisses will bee wonderinggg where I go to. Nic to c you again, Severes." And with that, Lucius ambled out of the chambers and off home.
I snuggled down in Severus' lap maybe a bit too much. I could feel something standing to attention under my head. A wand was pointed at my head "Vigito!" Severus mumbled. I didn't feel anything change. I was still very drunk! "Rose - I'm going to help you to your room, ok?" He stared at me. I nodded my head the smallest amount. I felt myself being picked up and taken somewhere. As soon as I was down I continued to latch on to Severus. "Rose, let me go. I won't fit in there with you, it's too small!" He remarked. I whispered "Undetectable Extension Charm" before pulling him in with me. I had designed it so only the people I told would know it was bigger on the inside.
He relinquished struggling against me as he soon fell asleep. It was some time before I half-slept.
