I groggily woke up still drunk as I was being shaken by Severus. "Rose, Rose - get up. We're going to be late for class." I pulled myself up with my head banging.

"Resvestum" I muttered, casting my wand at myself. I automatically changed from yesterday's clothes into clean clothes from my wardrobe without needing to get ready. I loved that spell! I got to my first class which incidentally happened to be charms to find Hermione waiting for me at the door.

"Rose, I thought you should know Harry broke his arm and Lockhart took all the bones out of it at the Quidditch match. I've got to get to my lesson - just thought I should tell you. Bye." She streamed before running off for class. My classes were boring today so I took the time trying to become somber.

Apparently, a monster was going around petrifying people as I heard three minutes into the class from Fred and George Weasley.

My head was throbbing as I tried to sort through what I knew. I gave up, my head was hurting too much to think. I need some time to sleep or daydream! I knew I was supposed to set an example but I wanted some fun too. "Somnium Tantillus" I whispered, pointing my wand at my head. I started daydreaming rather peacefully in History. I mean, no-one would realise in here. Binns always made everyone fall asleep anyway.

My dream started off normal as I was calmly walking along the edge of the lake as I watched Severus berating for another insignificant thing. Why was he always giving Harry a hard time?

"Potter, Potter, Potter..." He shouted over and over again. Until it clicked. It wasn't Harry he was seeing, it was his father. But then he also saw Lily in him, just enough to remind him everyday of how Potter managed to make Lily fall for him and not Severus.

Everything Lily had wrote made a lot more sense. I couldn't help but turn away from the scene to watch the water as it lapped at the bank. A hand slotted into mine.

It was Lily - her 10 year old self. "Now you see!" She whispered as I started brimming with tears. I started shaking letting the tears fall for all kinds of reasons. But mainly for Severus. And I hardly knew the man - was I on something?

My daydream came to an abrupt end when a bell rang signalling the end of class. I shook my head and came back to reality. Fred and George were looking at me very oddly. I got up and raced out of the classroom heading for the Hospital Wing instead of the Great Hall for lunch - I wiped my eyes on the way. When I got there, I saw Colin Creevey resting on a bed in a petrified state - it was unnerving.

It could happen to anyone! Harry was sitting up talking to Hermione. I slowly approached not alerting them to the fact I was there. "Harry, we need to get started on the Polyjuice Potion. Some of the ingredients are going to be hard to find." I coughed somewhat loudly. They turned to look at me. "It's fine, I won't tell. Harry, are you ok?" I asked, concerned. "Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" He looked at me suspiciously. I nodded once and left. It was hard to keep my distance but I knew I had to.

I had noticed in the following weeks that Ginny was rather downhearted. Fred and George tried to cheer her up by jumping out from behind statues such as Gregory the Smarmy and the One-Eyed Witch. However Ginny ended up crying every time which made me wonder what was going on with her.
