Nora stared at him like he'd grown two heads.
"I don't think so." Was her reply
"It'll be fun."
"No. I don't dance" that was entirely a lie, she danced and she loved it, but she wasn't about to let this stranger know.
"Me neither, come on." He pleaded and then promptly dragged her to the dance floor.

She stood still on the dance floor, not sure if to dance with him .
"Come on Nora, relax and enjoy the night." He whispered in her ear.
Something about his voice made her instantly relax and she found herself moving in time with the music. She leaned into him as his hands came around her waist pulling her into a solid chest. She was hyper aware of his body pressing into hers as they danced, aware of his body heat, aware of his scent, an earthy musk mixed with aftershave that had been following her around.

After about an hour of dancing Nora decided to call it quits. She was about to call Nicki on her phone, when she noticed an unread message.

Already left. Saw you getting cosy with your guy, couldn't interrupt - N-

She muttered out a curse. How was she supposed to get home? Damn Nicki.
"Any problem?" Someone asked.
She turned at the sound of his voice beside her. She shook her head.
"Sure? Are you looking for your friend?"
"No. She already left."
"Left?"
"Yes. Home." She couldn't help but snap. She was feeling slightly annoyed.
"Okay. Let me drop you off."
"No. I'll be fine."
"I insist."
"Okay."
"Come on."

He grabbed her hand and led her outside to grey corolla. She gave him directions to her house while, maintaining silence in the car.
After he dropped her off, Nora sank into her sofa, tired and exhausted. Her mind still lingering on the events of the night, how'd it felt so to be in his arms. She'd felt  safe with his arms around her. What was wrong with her? She barely knew him. She drifted off with those thoughts.

Over the next few weeks, Jacobi and Nora started getting close. He always came to the supermarket to talk with her and she enjoyed it. She enjoyed being around him.
One evening, she was leaving her workplace when he appeared beside her.

"Hey there." He said
"Hi. Were you waiting for me?"
"Maybe." He shrugged. " I've got something here." He said waving his hand in her face.
"What?"
"Promise you'll go."
"Just tell me." She wasn't really a fan of surprises.
"Two tickets to watch skyscraper."
"Seriously?" She'd watched the movie before, but it wouldn't hurt too see it again.
"Yeah. So coming?" He quirked an eyebrow.
"Duh."
....
Okay, seeing the movie the second time was just as awesome as the first. After, they'd gone to get ice cream before stopping at a beach and taking a walk. At her house as he dropped her off, he walked her to her front door, where the both of them just stood staring at each other.

"Would you mind if I kissed you?" He asked quietly, his hand coming to cup her cheek.
Would she mind? Hell no, as if. If he hadn't asked her she would have probably begged for him to do it.  His fingers were  tracing patterns on her cheek and she was so lost in staring into his eyes she didn't realize she'd nodded.

His hand slipped from her cheek to the back of her neck bringing their faces closer and fusing their lips. The sudden flare of heat swept her into frozen state until his lips moved against hers angling slightly to one side to deepen the kiss. She could feel herself falling, the only thing keeping her from completely drowning was the feel of his lips on hers. Nothing else mattered but the feel of his soft lips in hers. His tongue slowly teased it's way into her mouth; at that bold move she reacted and all her reflexes came back to life. Her hands slipped around his neck as she pushed herself on her toes allowing his arms to wrap around her waist as she matched his every assault. His finger tightened around his waist  and his little growls and moans grew raspy as their lips parted for a second to change angles. She let herself go and kissed him for all she was worth. She felt his finger on her cheek as their lips parted, both of them trying to calm their panting and racing hearts. With a peck he bade her goodnight. She stood, still stunned at the intensity of their kiss. How could he make her feel so much with just a kiss? Her hands rose to her lips, as she touched them imagining his lips still on hers.

At the hotel, Jacobi ran his hands through his hair. Damn! His mind was occupied with thoughts of his little mate. God! Her scent it was so addictive. He ran his hand through his hair again. He had the sudden urge to go back to her apartment and take her, make her irrevocably his.

He needed a serious and very severe cold shower. He remembered, standing outside her door. She looked to good, he couldn't resist the urge to kiss her and boy, she tasted better than he'd imagined like something spicy with a hint of a vanilla and coconut. It was as addictive as her scent, something he wanted to be drunk on. He really needed that cold shower now or he wouldn't last the night, considering how much he wanted to run back to her apartment and take her.

His wolf was restless. Stepping out of his clothes, he entered into the bathroom. Despite the kiss, he'd still felt something off about her, like she wasn't aware of her wolf. His little mate. He smiled at the possessive thought as the cold water blasted on him.
