Huey's POV~

Grandad beat the hell outta Riley last night. I was up late last night studying when I heard the girly screams of him echoing throughout the house. Can't say that he didn't deserve it.

He walked in here sniffing and then went straight to sleep like usual.  Right now, I'm getting dressed for school. Riley always gets dressed late. I'm always up early.

After I sprayed myself with cologne, I walked downstairs to make lunch for me and Riley, I guess. I'm tired of him stealing half of my damn sandwiches at school during lunch anyway.

I walked into the kitchen and to my dismay, grandad in here half naked with a robe slightly hanging off his private parts, and a bottle of Hennessy is layed next to him.

He must've been on that old dating website again. I shook my head deciding to pretend like I don't see him. I grabbed everything I needed to make the sandwiches. I sat at the table away from grandad and began making them.

"Huey, make me one too." Grandad mumbles, slowly waking up. I narrow my eyes at him. "Grandad, please don't talk to me with your private parts almost hanging out." I sigh, annoyed, avoiding any type of eye contact.

"Shut up. This my damn house. If I wanted to walk around here naked, you're just going to have to accept it Huey and If you don't like it, don't let the front door hit you on yo way out." He hops off of the counter and fully put his robe on, covering himself. I hate it when he does this shit. It really makes me wanna get my own place sometimes. I just don't have the money right now but I'm gonna get a job when I'm old enough and start saving for sure.

I shook my head then put me and riley's sandwiches in a brown bag and then headed out. "Wait!" I heard Riley yell as I'm halfway out the door. He ran down the stairs then rushed to the door. I noticed him wearing all black and his backpack looked bigger than usual. I decided to just ignore it and not even bother asking.

"Riley, what's your deal with Jazmine? Do u not know who her father is?" I question, thinking about what he had said yesterday, as we walk to our bus stop.

He looks at me. "I ain't worried bout that hoe no more. I gots my eyes on this fine ass girl that I almost met yesterday. I think she really was feelin me. And Ion give a damn bout who the hoe daddy is." He sternly huffs. He gotta be the dumbest nigga known to exist.

"You said that the last time. If I were I you, I'd stop thinking that every girl liked me and i'd focus on more important things like poverty, world hunger, revolutions, corrupt systems, maintaining good grades so that I could get a great well paying job to support my family and many more." I explain to him as we get on the bus. I can't ever get through to him or anyone for that matter. But, then again talking to him and any other man that identifies themselves as a 'real nigga' about that type of stuff is like talking to a damn brick wall.

He smacks his lips. "Mane Huey, ats you, okay. Dat ain't me. I'ms a thug nigga. I'm a player that gets hoes and money. Bitches love me. Can't nobody change that. Plus, I already told yo ass that I wanna invest in a career that ain't got nun to do wit skoo like...basketball. Y'all Niggas never listen to me, mane." He shakes his head.

"What a dumb nigger," I hear some kid sitting behind us mumble. Me and Riley both turn around and glare a hole into his face. It's a white kid. This is some ole bullshit.

Riley tilts his head to the side a little. "What the fuck is this? People openly being racist now?" He turns to me and asks then looks back at the white kid for an answer. "What the fuck you jus say, nigga?" Riley aggressively questions. "I said you're a dumbass nigger! All three of you in fact! Why don't you all do us all a favor and sit at the back of the bus and just shut up!" The white bastard yells, pointing at me, Riley, and some familiar looking guy with dreads, gaining everyone's attention.
