Huey's POV~

It's Sunday evening.

"Boy, where are you going?" Grandad questions. I walk past him, going into the kitchen to finish packing my small bag.

"I'm going to go get Riley. He went to a friends house and he doesn't have a way home." I lie to keep him from stressing.

"Who the hell told that boy to leave from school and make friends? He's been gone this whole muthafuckin weekend! I can't stand that nappy headed bug.—"

As grandad rambles on and on about how he can't stand Riley, I finished packing my bag, gathering food items. I don't how long I will be gone or how long this is going to take, so I'm preparing for anything.

"Bye grandad." I open the front door, cutting him off. I take one last glance at him as he folds his arms. "Nigga, I wasn't finished talkin to you."

I close the door anyways, beginning to walk up to Cairo's black car.

I quickly get in, closing the door behind me.

"Wassup, brotha?" He greets, offering me a rolled blunt. I shake my head, declining. He shrugs then drives off, turning the loud radio down some.

"So...how do you know where to find him?" I question, intently observing the items in his car. Instantly I can tell this car must be stolen. For starters, there's a picture of a Caucasian family on the dashboard.

"My little brother knows this thug named Omarion. Omarion is said to be one of the most dangerous niggas out there but what people don't know is..that the most dangerous thugs..are in the shadows lurking and no one will ever see their faces unless you taking yo last breath staring them right in the eyes...you'd make a decent thug." He utters, turning on the ac.

"You didn't answer my question." I point out, glancing around at our surroundings, making a mental image of them.

He chuckles, letting down his window to exhale the smoke in his mouth. "Listen Huey...it's just business." He says.

Alcohol stings my nose before everything goes black.

-

"He's awakening! Oh my gosh! Should I go get Boss?" I hear a girls voice. I slowly tilt my head, staring at nothing but blackness. I must have on a blindfold.

As I try to move my arms, I realize I can't because my they're bound behind something that feels like a cold pole with my hands tied.

"What if he escapes? Cairo said he's dangerous." The girl whispers though I still hear her.

Cairo? Cairo! I attempt to grit my teeth, trying a trick I know to get out of this simple knot. I knew shouldn't have gone anywhere with him.

"Omg! I'm gonna go get boss!" The girl gasp, footsteps sprinting out.

"Hello?" my word is muffled because of the gag around my mouth. I shuffle around a bit, testing my trick then the ropes fall. Wow. Easier than I knew it'd be.

I quickly take off the smelly blindfold then the gag, quickly inhaling air as I do. My movements cease as footsteps draw in. I take a quick glance around the poorly decorated room, spotting three katanas hanging on the wall to the left of me.

This place looks like some type of small disciplinary training arena.

I jump over a table and quickly grab one, unleashing it then stand in defense mode as a person stands at the entrance.

"You're awake." She simply says. I squint my eyes, moving closer while also remembering to keep my distance. Her mocha skin color brings out her blood red lipstick. The subtle yet angry, fierce glare in her light brown eyes follows my every movement.
