Up in a tower I am.
No stairs no doors but a window above.
I don't know how I got there.
But I realize it's not real.
I can see the elephant fly
And the trees float.
Knowing it's a dream
I can decide the flow.
I stand on the edge of the window.
Eyes closed and hands wide,
A step forward,
And I'm Falling...
I can feel the air rushing around me.
And the strong pull towards the ground.
Suddenly I stopped,
I'm floating midway down the tower.
The air stopped so the moving clouds.
The time stopped.
For how long I still wonder.
My heartbeat stopped,
But the pain was real.
Death masked as angel held my hands tight,
Dragging me to the other side of life.
Me, Struggling to live,
Using the last bit of effort
I escaped the force of death.
The time started again.
Though this time it reversed.
I was back up in the tower Once again.
All the thrill and pain broke my slumber.
But I was up at the same tower.
Oh well!
This time I took the secret stairs down the tower,
Instead of leaping out of the window!
I wonder, would I have actually jumped out of the window,
If I didn't notice the stairs?
However the dream helped!
