"Well, so what if she can cook French?! Guess what?! I can cook some French cuisine, too! I have the French cookbook, too!!I'll cook some dishes for my family if I had to! You know what!? I'll cook some French dishes tonight and I am sure they'll like it!!" Tamako mumbled angrily by herself as she finally freed from Mrs. Honekawa's clutches, walking back home with the groceries.
Like mother like son, they said. But again, no one can't help but feeling angry and jealous when and after you're hanging out with the Shinkansen-type bragging train of Mrs. Honekawa.

"I'm home," Nobita called out as he arrived at home.
"Welcome back," Doraemon called out above right from their room.
In the Nobi household, Nobita and Doraemon shared a room at the second floor of the house, while Tamako and Nobisuke, Nobita's biological parents and Doraemon's adoptive parents, lived on the family room on the first floor of the house. This is quite common for Japanese households for doing so in order to make space.
The family uses futon to sleep, similar to many households in Japan who did so. While some household had installed a bed, but not every room in the house had enough space for even an IKEA bed, even for kid-size ones, so futon are the alternative solution for Japanese sleeping business, and this culture continues to this day, where most Japanese families live in the apartment and still didn't have enough space for a bed.
"Man, I'm feeling hungry..." Nobita muttered as he entered the room he and Doraemon shared together, patting his stomach.
Doraemon is looking at a picture, licking and smaking his lips continuously, as if he's eating dorayaki.
"Mmmhmm... It's delicious!" He said, inhaling and wiping a little drool that come out of his mouth.
"I'm eating a lot today..." Doraemon muttered, about to put the picture back into his third-dimensional pocket when Nobita snatched it from his grasp.
"What is 'It's delicious' you're talking about?" He said as he looked at the picture.
"A dorayaki picture?"
"Just look closely and you'll see why," Doraemon said.
Nobita looked closely to the picture as he sitting down. Suddenly, a wave of freshly-made pancakes and the sweetness of the anko, the naturally-sweetened red bean paste entered his nose.
"Wow! I can smell dorayaki! Woah! Suddenly my mouth's full of sweetness!" Nobita was shocked by the sudden reaction of fluff and smooth texture filling in his mouth.
"It's like I can eat it! It's really delicious!!" Nobita exclaimed as buds of saliva forming in his mouth.
"Right?" Doraemon affirmed.
"How does it do that?" Nobita asked.
Doraemon rummage his pocket and took out a shaker, "Here's the secret, Food Visualiser Gas."
"What's that?"
"It's a helpful device for those who are busy and didn't have a time to eat. By sprinkling this gas into any food pictures, whether it's a photograph or a picutrebook, your five senses can taste them in seconds," Doraemon explained.
"Amazing! Now I wanted to eat something else!"
"Sure. Just give me back my dorayaki picture,"
Nobita gave back the dorayaki picture to Doraemon who put it back into the pocket. They then proceed to the bookshelf right next to where they seated.
"Now then, I know there's a food encyclopedia somewhere in this shelf..."
"You can use manga, too, by the way,"
"Let's try the real life first,"
Suddenly the door opened, revealing angry Tamako standing in front of the room.
Shocked by the sudden entrance and her angry expression, Nobita and Doraemon shouted simultaneously, "I'm sorry! I'm not doing it again!"
Confused, Tamako asked, "What are you talking about?"
"Uh... nothing..." Nobita answered, also confused.
"You look angry, so it's a reflex for us," Doraemon added.
"Oh..."
Tamako then put on a stern face and spoke: "Listen carefully boys. I'm going to cook delicious French dishes for tonight's dinner! I want you to help me in the kitchen, alright?"
Shocked, Doraemon and Nobita replied, "Huh? Yes, sure..."
"That settles then," She said and left the room before closing the door.
Both Doraemon and Nobita stands in silence, before Nobita finally commented: "I wonder what's going on with her, suddenly decided to cook French..."
"I don't know. But it's exciting, isn't it?" Doraemon responded.

After telling Nobisuke to come home early via phone, Tamako rummages the storage house and finally discovered what she's looking for.
"Here it is! The French Cuisine Recipe Book!" She exclaimed as she found the book and wipe the dust off its cover.
Her eyes shone with determination. With a smile on her face, she delcared, "With this, I'll prove to everyone that I can cook delicious French dinner for my family!"
She then flipeed the pages of the book. She stopped at a page, exclaiming, "Oh my! It looks delicious!"
She then flipped again, stopping at another page, exclaiming, "Oh! This one is delicious, too!"
She closed the book, and said excitedly, "Alright! Time to go shopping for the ingredients!"
