Magic 8 Ball, is there swearing in this chapter?

Don't count on it.

Oh, well you're a liar. There is.

McKenna

Okay, this is really awkward.

Calum, Michael, and Luke are in the living room watching SpongeBob Squarepants.

And as you may have noticed, one boy was missing in that sentence.

That’s Ashton.

He’s sitting on a barstool in the kitchen, watching as I cook chicken noodle soup for dinner.

Yes, I live in LA and cook a hot dish.

You get used to it.

What I’m never going to get used to, though, is Ashton’s eyes on me.

I hear a noise coming from the living room and I know that Hadley’s woke up and walked in there.

She’s had a two hour nap, that’s good enough.

The front door opens and I hear Hadley’s screaming, meaning that Ollie’s home.

Ollie’s my best friend and roommate.

She parks her car in the garage, but she doesn’t enter through the door connecting the garage to the kitchen because she always ends up tripping on the step-up part, crashing to the floor, and getting a bloody nose.

She’s done it seven times before realizing entering through that door is a bad idea.

I turn the temperature down on the stove and walk out of the kitchen and to the front door.

I walk in to see Hadley giggling and holding onto Ollie’s perfect, tan legs.

Ollie could be a model she’s so beautiful.

She has the perfect hourglass figure, smooth skin, and she’s tan as well.

She has pale blonde hair that’s silky smooth and easy to work with, and these captivating, green eyes.

Ollie settled on being an interviewer for a website called ‘Sparked.’

Hadley laughs some more before letting go of Ollie’s legs and running back into the living room, tempted to get back to SpongeBob.
