Seven; Day Three

"Today's going to be a fairly slow day Jade so you can just take everyone's orders and get everything done and then the boys and Leah will be here including your boyfriend." Tiffany says in a teasing tone.

"He's not my boyfriend." Jade replies, blushing and Tiffany laughs.

"Sure." Tiffany says and walks away.

As the day progresses less and less people show up until the last person leaves and the pack shows up about 10 minutes afterwards.

"Good morning Jade." Paul greets her teasingly and Jade rolls her eyes.

"You know, it's really bad to spy on people." Jade replies looking at all the people that were in the truck.

"Well I'm sorry. We had to make sure Quil didn't do anything innapropriate." Embry jokingly says and Quil shoves him.

"Shut up Embry." Quil mutters, kissing Jade on the cheek.

"Oh my god! My virgin eyes!" Paul jokingly exclaims and Quil shoves him too.

"You guys are assholes." Quil mutters, not meaning it in a bad bad way.

"I'm hurt." Embry replies with a slight gasp at the beginning.

"No, you're a drama queen." Jade says and Quil laughs.

"That is a fact." Tiffany says and Embry looks at her.

"Mom!" Embry exclaims and Tiffany laughs.

Jade's phone makes the sound when she gets a text and she looks at her phone to see a text from her mom.

"Your dad and I are on our way to pick you up. Bring that boy that walks you home outside when we get there." Reads the text and Quil looks as if he saw a ghost.

"What's wrong?" Paul asks and Quil laughs nervously.

"Um her mom and dad want to meet me." Quil mutters and Embry laughs.

"Good luck dude." He says and they turn to look outside when the horn honks.

Jade grabs Quils hand and leads him outside to where her parents are standing.

"Hello ma'am and sir." Quil greets and James holds his hand out to shake.

Quil grabs his hand slowly as to not make him mad and shakes it.

"Nice to meet you." James replies and Christine just keeps looking him over.

"My names Christine." She says and Quil nods.

"Nice to meet you." Quil replies and Jade looks between them.

"Well let's get going honey." James says and gets in the drivers seat, Christine in the passengers seat and Jade quickly kisses Quil on the cheek before getting into the car.

As they drive home Jade hears her mom sigh.

"Jade, I don't want you seeing that boy anymore. He's not good enough for you. I mean did you see his clothing." Christine states and Jade looks at her.

"Are you kidding me?" Jade asks and her mom repeats what she said.

Jade scoffs, "Well too bad. I'm sorry, but I genuinely like him so I'm going to keep seeing him. Whether you like it or not."

"Don't talk back to me. What I said is final." Christine snaps and Jade rolls her eyes.

What her father does next makes her look at him in shock.

"Christine, maybe we should let her. He seems like a good boy and she really likes him. Why can't you just let her be happy with him?" James says and Christine gapes at him.

She scoffs and crosses her arms, "Fine! Since apparently I don't know what's best for my daughter."
