DESCRIPTION - au-biased - uni
ROUGH SUMMARY jack is part of the school paper (or is just someone with a really demanding research subject) and ofc is running for a position in the student body which required so many late night preparations and they always end up in campus at almost midnight doing work. they dont go along the same crowd but eventually develop a friendship over too many nights meeting in the vending machine to get red bull and coffee.
SCENE IDEAS - jack and ofc with dark bags under their eyes dragging their feet to the vending machine and lighting up when they see that the other one is there too - they take drinks of, as mentioned, mixed energy drinks and strong coffee and were surprised when the other was making the same concoction which is a possible conversation idea - late night in library and they hear something and jack was absolutely convinced it was a ghost. the two nerds spent the night huddled together in fear (turns out it was a rat or something stupid) but they eventually become close - jack helping out ofc with her campaign bc she doesnt appeal to his 'crowd' aka the artistic and quiet ones - the vending machine they meet up in malfunction one day and jack offers to drive them all the way to town for strong sb espresso
