When I would be at school in the classroom I would get these chronic headaches. The light and sound bothered me so much. Every once in a while I would go to the nurse and rest for 15 minutes.
There was this one teacher who seemed to notice and would also let me rest in her classroom. She was extremely kind.
There were also other symptoms like within a month I had gained 30 pounds which was completely unhealthy. Also I hadn't received my menstrual cycle within 9 months and that worried me lots.
Then I started to get eye pain. I thought it was because I needed glasses so my mom took me to the eye doctor.
When I got there they checked my eyes and as I suspected I did need glasses.
Life went on and I kept getting pain in my eyes. As the days went by, it got worse. I complained to my mom about this.
I would skip school because I couldn't handle the light and my eyes couldn't concentrate on the screen.
Once again my mom took me to the eye doctor, but this time not for an eye exam. She wanted to see if I had an illness in my eye.
The eye doctor checked my eyes and, luckily, my eyes were fine but he did say that my vision changed dramatically. He said it wasn't normal.
So he wanted to take me to a specialist to look deeper inside my eyes.
